Great for the frequent entertainer, the Danby DWC2727BLS Wine Cooler offers dual independently controlled temperature zones for storing both red and white wines. Each zone holds up to 27 bottles and is equipped with a precise digital thermostat and LED display that allow you to accurately set and monitor the temperature through the glass doors. The tinted tempered glass doors help protect your wines from harmful UV rays, while cool blue LED lighting illuminates bottles without the heat created by an incandescent bulb. The wine refrigerator also comes with stainless steel trimmed wire shelves to match the stainless steel door trim.
With front ventilation and a black finished cabinet, the DWC2727BLS is ideal for built-in as well as freestanding applications.

| Comments: | I really like the unique French door design; the 2 equally sized, completely seperate compartments; the 54 bottle capacity; and the 2 year in-home warranty. The chiller is as-advertised and quality is comensurate with the price range (better than Vinotemp , but it’s not Sub Zero). I have a few minor criticisms. The compressor is loud. The thermostats aren’t super accurate and the temperature fluctuates 3 or 4 degrees. The chiller cannot be installed flush with cabinets because the doors must be opened close to 160 degrees to pull shelves out to access the wine. The vertical clearance between shelves is tight so you have to pull the shelves out to insert or remove bottles. Additionally, the bottles must be oddly loaded to actually fit 54 in the chiller. 42 bottles can be loaded in a normal manner. I do, however, recommend the chiller and the Beverage Factory buying process was fantastic. Beverage Factory threw in a free 5 year warranty so it was a no-brainer. |

| Comments: | This was installed in our new bar between a wall and a closet....the doors open fine - but when we went to slide the shelves out they would not budge. We have to get a new fridge now because this one has to be able to have the doors swing more than 90 degrees to get the shelves out for the wine. Read the fine print - obviously we didn't! It is stunning though - and the blue light is really cool! |
