All you have to do is pour fresh water in the water container up to the MAX mark, insert the funnel-shapped filter and fill it with fine ground coffee, tighten the lower and the upper container and put it on the stove, regardless of its type. As the water starts to boil, the steam creates the exact needed pressure to gradually force through the ground coffee beans, reaching the upper container. And voila, your perfect espresso is ready. The flavors from the ground coffee are efficiently extrected resulting in a exceptionally strong and rich brew. The safety valve provides the necessary release if the pressure gets too high, while the silicone gasket ensures a tightly closed unit and allows for pressure to safely build up in the lower section.

The mirror-polished stainless steel construction of the pot features the typical Chambord design. The water container is broader than the slim upper part ornated with the disctinctive Chambord domed lid and knob on top. The retro handle is made of black bakelite, and is heat resistant and durable. All parts are dishwasher safe.

The Chambord Stovetop Espresso Maker is available in a 3-cup (0.18 L), 6-cup (0.36 L) and 12-cup (0.7 L) versions.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Step 1: Pour water in the water container up to the MAX mark.

Step 2: Insert the funnel-shaped metal filter into the water container.

Step 3: Add fine ground coffee.

Step 4: Tighten the upper part (wich has a second metal filter and a silicone gasket at the bottom) onto the water container.

Step 5: Place the Expresso maker on a heat source making sure that the handle is not directly over heat.

Step 6: Wait - the water is brought to boiling point, until the so-formed steam reaches a high enough pressure to gradually force its way through the ground coffee, and pass through to the upper chamber.

Step 7: As soon as all of the espresso has reached the upper part, you will hear a sputtering sound.

Step 8: This sound is the sign that the coffee is in the upper chamber and ready to serve!

Step 9: Pour the coffee directly from the upper chamber - enjoy a perfect cup of espresso!
