Jura-Capresso introduces a new design philosophy with the Impressa J5 Automatic Coffee & Espresso Center. With its rich platinum metallic front and top, elegant chrome accents and clean layout, this super automatic espresso machine is a work of art not only in brewing coffee but in aesthetics as well.

The J5 offers a number of innovative technological features from a multifunction rotary dial to the exclusive butterfly coffee spout. Located at the top of the J5 is the unique rotary dial that allows you to override any settings for coffee and steam. A push button at the center of the dial offers 11 different programming options, while six one-touch beverage buttons on the front of the machine are programmed to deliver all your hot drinks with a push of a button. An alpha-numeric LED display provides information about all functions and settings.

With the new ceramic valve technology, the flow of coffee is shortened resulting in hotter temperatures and more crema in your cup. The dual coffee spout delivers to either one or two cups, and its unique butterfly design allows for both height and width adjustment to accommodate a greater variety of cup sizes.

For your frothing and steaming needs, the J5 includes two frother devices, the Dual Frother PLUS for traditional manual frothing and the automatic frothXpress. The Dual Frother PLUS is designed for frothing and steaming smaller amounts of milk (one or two cups). Fast and easy-to-use, it offers 2 settings for latté (steaming milk) and cappuccino (steaming and frothing milk). The programmable frothXpress system automatically siphons milk, combines it with steam and delivers any amount of frothed or steamed milk directly into your cups. The Dual Frother PLUS can be easily stored inside a concealed storage compartment at the top of the unit when not in use.

The J5 is equipped with an integrated commercial conical burr grinder with solid steel burrs for greater durability. The grinder offers up to 6 fineness settings for any type of bean and features an accessible upper burr and an automatic clutch to prevent virtually all blockage from stones. In addition, the grinder is insulated for a quiet operation that can be enjoyed in the home, office or conference room.

Other features include a removable 71-oz. water container, an automatic pre-ground funnel system, a stainless steel lined thermoblock, an electronic bean level sensor and the CLEARYL Water Care System that removes chlorine, lead, aluminum and copper from your tap water for a better tasting coffee.
