The Krups XP1500 offers the functions of a 10-cup coffeemaker and a 4-cup espresso machine in a single versatile unit. The coffeemaker comes with a convenient swing-out filter for coffee grounds, a water level indicator that shows how much water is in the tank, a coffee scoop and an illuminated on/off switch.
The espresso machine is a 4-BAR steam system that makes delicious espresso, cappuccino and lattes quickly and easily. It boasts a convenient steam nozzle that froths milk without hassle, a 4-cup glass carafe with handle and a removable drip tray with stainless steel grid.

| Comments: | I love this coffeemaker. It brews very quickly. It is also a very quite when it is cooking. I am not a big cappacino drinker, but when I have used it is simple to use. I like the option of being able to offer it without having a second machine. For the price, I feel that this model completes its jobs fine. I would highly recommend it. |

| Comments: | Not too happy with the cappaccino side. I have had the most trouble with the steamer. Sometimes the steam just sometimes does not want to come out of the steamer spout. The coffemaker side works great. It is a big machine which makes it difficult to place. I have also found it to be a little difficult to clean. I am primarily a coffee drinker so I am happy with the machine. |

| Comments: | first the bad news - i can't understand the directions for the espresso machine and it just keeps beeping at me. I have no idea what's going on and Krups customer service hasn't helped much. the good news is the coffee side works great. It tastes wonderful in the morning and is much easier to understand than the espresso side. |
