Rancilio Silvia Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine
Perhaps one of the most popular semi-automatic espresso machines around, the Rancilio Silvia now comes with new and improved features that meet the demands of home baristas and serious coffee lovers. The Silvia is equipped with a commercial-grade brew group and portafilter suited for brewing café-quality coffee drinks. The brew group and boiler are made of brass for superior heat retention. In addition, the large-capacity boiler has an adjustable OPV (over pressure valve) that allows you to change the brewing pressure.
The Silvia is now pod-adaptable and can be easily fitted with a pod adapter for use with ESE (Easy Serve Espresso) pods. The coffee pod system is easy to use and lets you brew good, consistent espresso every time.
Made of sleek stainless steel, the Silvia features a clean linear design for a professional look and has sturdy iron supporting frame for durability. This semi-automatic espresso machine also features a removable 2-quart water reservoir, a 3-way solenoid valve that relieves pressure in the portafilter once brewing is complete, a passive cup warming plate for up to 6 espresso cups, an easy-to-clean removable drip tray and a stainless steel steam wand. The machine includes two filter baskets (single and double), a 7-gram measuring scoop and a coffee tamper.
