Gaggia 11400 Achille Manual Espresso Machine

Gaggia brings back the vintage charm of the lever-operated espresso machine with the elegant stainless steel Achille. The Achille offers ease of use and an attractive design that can be enjoyed by coffee lovers of all levels.

Brewing espresso coffee using a lever-operated machine can take time to learn but, once mastered, achieves coffee extraction comparable to the best machines. To brew, raise the lever on the front of the machine to allow water to infuse the coffee in the filter holder; lowering the lever forces the water through the coffee and delivers fresh brewed espresso into your cup.

This manual espresso machine comes equipped with a large capacity stainless steel boiler and a commercial style chrome-plated brass filter holder. A stainless steel heat exchanger allows the boiler to go from brewing to steaming without wait time, while an internal pressure regulator controls the boiler temperature and pressure, ensuring the Achille is always ready to brew. The 28-oz. water reservoir can be removed for easy filling or refilled in place.

Accessories include single/pod and double shot stainless steel filter baskets, a coffee tamper, measuring spoon and removable cup tray.
