| Comments: | Café Roma espresso machines are made in Australia by an old and well-respected company. The machine well built using stainless steel and high quality parts throughout. I own two Café Roma’s and am very pleased with their operation and the products they produce. In my experience, Café Roma’ gives the greatest return on investment of any machine under one thousand dollars. Making quality espresso requires experience, patience, and an understanding of the espresso making process, especially with “Steam Pot” units. The reviewer who marked this machine down because he had hit in order for it make steam is unclear on the concept. All he need do is to preheat the protafilter by running a cycle without coffee. This step preps the unit to make espresso by clearing the filter and adjusting the steam pressure. Next, load, tamp, and cycle the unit. Properly ground and tamped espresso coffee will take about 24-28 seconds to run through the filter. Plan on buying a good burr grinder when you buy your machine. We recommend the Capresso Infinity. If this is your first time around buying a good instruction book or taking lessons is suggested. |
| Bottom Line: | I would recommend this product. |

| Describe Yourself: | Coffee Aficianado, Everyday Drinker |
| Comments: | I used this machine each morning and was quickly frustrated with things like a valve sticking to the point I wuld have to hit the side of the machine in order to get the coffee flow started. The milk steaming was inconsistent and took a long time creating watery milk. Coffee temperature was too low so coffee flavor was weak. I'm going back to a Capresso machine. The coffee quality of a Cappresso is MUCH better. |
| Bottom Line: | I would not recommend this product. |
