The Chamonix is equipped with a filter holder and filter basket that can use both ground coffee and ESE (Easy Serving Espresso) system pods. An automatic self-priming pump eliminates the need for start-up preparation and delivers 15 BARs of pressure for optimal extraction. The Chamonix has three thermostats, two to regulate the coffee cycle and steaming process and a third "safety" thermostat located on the pump that takes effect in the event of abnormal or continuous use.

With the Turbo Jet Frother, frothing and steaming milk for cappuccinos and lattés are a breeze. The Crema Master™ ensures rich crema on every cup of espresso, while the patented Auto Espresso Flow™ microchip timing circuit allows you to pre-select the amount of espresso that is dispensed into your cup.

The espresso maker also features a stainless steel boiler, a large removable water reservoir, a water filter, a built-in coffee tamper and a removable overflow tray for easy cleaning.
