Nespresso D290C Concept Espresso Machine - Metallic Grey/Black

A combination of sleek design and high-tech functionality, Nespresso machines feature a unique extraction system that brings out the full flavor and aroma of coffee. This extraction system uses ready-to-use coffee capsules made of hermetically sealed aluminum. Each capsule contains exactly the right amount of finely ground, non freeze-dried coffee and guarantees the coffee's freshness, preserving its aroma for up to 9 months. A capsule holder or jaw perforates the capsule and soaks all the ground coffee to deliver the perfect espresso.

Nespresso Concept Line espresso machines are equipped with a jaw system that offers quality coffee extraction and flow. Lift open the jaw, place a Nespresso capsule inside and close it with a simple action. The spent capsule is automatically ejected into the used capsule container the next time the jaw is opened.

The D290 features two back-lit control buttons that offer convenient programming of cup volume. The D290 comes with a special removable cappuccino-caffelatte device that draws milk directly from the milk container and automatically transforms it into thick, creamy froth. The machine cools down automatically 2 minutes after the last use of the steam function, or by pressing the steam button. A thermoblock heating element heats water to 187°F and 196°F, while a high-pressure (19 BAR) pump extracts all the aromas and creates a perfect crema in the cup. Should the jaw be opened during the preparation of an espresso, the machine automatically switches off.
