Espressione 1385B Café Retró Semi-Automatic Espresso Maker - Black
The Espressione Café Retró Semi-Automatic Espresso Maker combines Old World design with some of the latest coffee-brewing innovations. The Café Retró is equipped with a 24-oz. heavy-duty aluminum boiler and a UL rated 1050-watt heating element to quickly heat water to the proper brewing temperature. A front-mounted gauge makes it easy to monitor the boiler temperature. Warm-up time is quick - a maximum of two minutes - and there's minimal waiting time between brewing espresso and steaming milk.
Frothing and steaming milk is easy with the Maxi Cappuccino frothing device. Attached to the stainless steel steam wand, the frothing device sucks in air and injects it into the milk for quick and easy frothing. The steam wand can also dispense hot water for tea, Americano or hot chocolate.
The Café Retró has a solid steel body and chasis with rust inhibitor powder-coated baked-on finish available in Black, Silver or Red. Additional features include a removable 23.5-oz. water tank, a pull-out knock box, a cup warmer with rails and a cord storage compartment. The espresso maker also comes with two chrome-plated brass portafilters, one adapted for use with E.S.E. (Easy Serving Espresso) pods and the other for ground coffee.

| Comments: | WOW!! A heavy metal machine with incredible style. I was considering the Francis but that was almost $800. This is half the price and twice the machine. Uses pods or ground coffee. Makes hot espresso and froths great. I bought the Red one and it stands out on my counter and when I have friends over for dinner, they all are impressed when I am there serving. Definitley recommend this one. |
