The Espressione Caffè Novecento Semi-Automatic Espresso Maker combines high-class features with Old World styling in an elegant chrome-plated metal housing. Equipped with a professional chrome-plated brass portafilter, the Caffè Novecento makes it easy to brew delicious café-quality coffee and espresso in your home. Every cup of espresso is topped with the perfect amount of crema thanks to the ThermoCream System.
Making cappuccinos and lattés takes only a few seconds with the Maxi Cappuccino frothing attachment. The steam wand also offers manual adjustable control of the steam output for custom preparations.
A powerful 15-BAR pump driven by a heavy-duty boiler produces the right pressure for optimal extraction, while a UL rated 1000-watt heating element ensures consistent brewing and steaming temperatures. A retro-style thermometer mounted to the top of the espresso maker lets you monitor the temperature in the boiler.
The Caffè Novecento is compatible with both ground coffee and ESE (Easy Serving Espresso) system pods. The espresso maker also includes single and double-shot filters, a spoon and coffee tamper. Additional features include a 1-liter removable water reservoir, a removable drip tray for easy cleaning, a high pressure professional safety valve and a solenoid valve to prevent dripping.

| Comments: | This is it. I have found the machine that makes the perfect espresso. It does not get better than this. First off the look. A throwback to the old days when design was important. Stainless steel. This is a metal housing unit, no cheap plastic here. Nice blue lights too. Now quality of espresso... The best. The handle is heavy, (you can work out with it if you want). It gives you incredible crema and the spout comes off to change if I want 1 or 2 cups. Then you can use ese pods with the 2nd holder but I am a traditionalist and love to tamp my own. It has an incredible steam blast and this conical shaped frother. Makes great froth, and hot too. I have had Gaggia, Saeco, Francis and I am done. This will be the last one I buy. It is incredible. |
