With its unique backlit touch ring control panel and digital LCD screen, the Gaggia Platinum Swing Super Automatic Espresso Maker lets you easily brew espresso to your desired taste. The control panel provides access to a number of programming options, including water hardness settings, coffee dosage, language selection, rinsing and cleaning cycles, aroma strength and more. The Platinum Swing also features the Espresso Plus System, which lets you adjust the coffee strength with a simple twist of a knob.
Inside the impact-resistant ABS plastic housing, the Platinum Swing is equipped with a Rapid Steam® system that reduces the time between coffee and steam delivery to just a few seconds. The stainless steel boiler and 15-BAR pressure pump ensure even heat distribution and optimal extraction. A Pannarello frothing wand makes it easy to froth and steam milk for cappuccino and latté. In addition, the Platinum Swing now comes with the exclusive Milk Island Automatic Frothing Device for quick and effortless milk frothing.
This espresso maker also features a removable 57-oz. water reservoir, an Aqua Prima water filter, a bypass doser for pre-ground and decaffeinated coffee, a height-adjustable drip tray and a ceramic burr grinder with adjustable grind settings.

| Comments: | We have family dinners quite often which includes anywhere from 15-25 people ranging anywhere from 7-75 years old. This machine certainly gets used and abused! I have used every feature on this machine that I can find! Everytime we all get together there is atleast 5 hot cocoas, and I don't know how many espressos, coffees, cappuccinos and you can't forget Grandma's DECAF! this family is a Gaggia lover for life! |
