Breville SK500XL ikon Electric Kettle - 1.7 Liter

The Breville SK500XL ikon Tea Kettle boasts a stylish European inspired "tall" design constructed from durable brushed stainless steel. It has an 1.7-liter capacity and features a fast-boil 1500-watt heating element that can boil 2 cups of water in about 2 minutes.

Thanks to a special bi-metal sensor, the kettle automatically shuts off after the water begins to boil. A second bi-metal sensor provides further protection by ensuring the kettle remains off when there's no water in the jug.

The transparent dome-shaped lid features internally dampened gears that provide effortless opening and closing of the lid. This controls the lid's opening action and safely staggers the release of gas.

This kettle also includes a 360° rotational base, wrap-around cord storage, a soft-touch thermo-plastic Elastomer handle and a water level indicator at the rear of the kettle.
