This BonJour Glass Teapot features an unique removable metal infuser with a shut-off mechanism that gives you control of the strength of your tea. Simply fill the infuser with 3-5 teaspoons of loose tea leaves, pour hot water (2-3 minutes after boiling) into the glass carafe and steep the leaves until the tea has reached your desired level of taste. Push the plunger down to end the brewing process. The removable infuser also makes it easy to prepare a blooming tea or brew with a tea bag.
