The pleasure of making tea in the Bodum BISTRO NOUVEAU is the pleasure of simplicity. In "The Book of Tea", one of the most famous books on tea, by Okakura Kakuzo, he states, "Tea has not the arrogance of wine, the self-consciousness of coffee, nor the simpering innocence of cocoa." Brewing tea the traditional way is what the #1875 was made to do.
The teapot is provided with a simple strainer in plastic and a capacity allowing the tealeaves to infuse 6 cups of delicious tea. Of course it is dishwasher safe as is the rest of the pot. A true Bodum design. It is simplicity itself!
