Thermos Commercial products are performance tested to verify their superior temperature holding performance. The resulting temperature after six hours of testing is provided as a convenient indicator of each item's relative performance. Tests are conducted using water starting at 203°F or 32°F with an ambient temperature of 70°F. Food carriers are tested using lasagna at 203°F or 0°F at 70°F ambient.
