The Lock Ring Removal Knife is used to remove the lock ring on a drop-in keg valve. Along with the Valve Removal Press, you can remove the drop-in keg valve for keg maintenance and cleaning. Don't allow a faulty valve to ruin an otherwise perfectly good keg!
A valve removal press is also necessary to take the pressure off of the lock ring so that you can use the knife to remove it.
