Q&A

You can use this high pressure regulator on any CO2 tank with a CGA-320 valve. CO2 tanks have a male thread (CGA-320); these regulators have a female thread. This regulator features dual gauges to measure psi as well as the volume of CO2 in the cylinder, indicating how much CO2 is left in the cylinder and when you should have it refilled. The red plastic knob on the front is used to adjust the output pressure.

This high pressure regulator allows for an adjusted pressure from 10 to 130 psi. This regulator can be used as a primary regulator for mixed gas or in a gas blender application.

Using for making seltzer water
Gecko

Allows me to carbonate water to the desired level. It will be usable if I desire to go to a full carbonator/dispenser system.

top quality

I wanted to set up a nitro system so I needed both high(50-100 psi) and low (3-15 psi). This reulator with the pro low pressure regulator is the perfect combo

Great regulator!

I've now purchased two of these regulators for at home "selzer stations." They work really well, are well made, and are reasonably priced.

Better than picture
Randy

The picture show an pressure regulator screw and a locknut which required two tools to adjust. The unit I received had a pull-knob which means a no tool adjustment.

It holds the set pressure when gas is being used which is perfect.

This company and its products are first class. I will buy from them again.

Question:
commercially CO2 tanks are rated at 3000psig. How can this be used when the primary gauge is 2000psig max
by fred on November 06, 2018
Answer:
That's a great question! Commercial CO2 tanks are rated for pressures up to 3,000 psi, but CO2 in a tank will have a gas pressure of around 800-900 psi under most normal working conditions (temperatures). The remainder of the compound will be in a liquid state. As CO2 gas leaves the tank, CO2 liquid changes to gas to equalize the pressure in the tank. The tank should never reach the maximum rated pressure...it shouldn't even come close.

Question:
About regulators for Nitrogen delivery systems - is this Taprite product sufficient or should you look for other features? I want to setup a Nitro tap, for coffee or for Stout.
by jcInsaniac on November 14, 2019
Answer:
Great question; this is a high pressure CO2 regulator, so you would require an adapter to allow it to work with a nitrogen tank. It can certainly handle the pressure required. We sell all of the necessary equipment you would need for the coffee/stout set up. Please call our sales team at 800-710-9939 for a full system quote.
