Brewer's Best Grapefruit Peel adds a sweet and tangy citrus flavor to your fermented creation. The Citrus Paradisi Pericarpium has a rich source of vitamin C and antioxidant nutrients and was traditionally used as a diuretic medicine to confers many health benefits. This ingredient is recommended to add at the end of the boil in a white ale, or add it to secondary fermentation to impart a grapefruit flavor and aroma in a pale ale or IPA. Suggested usage rate: 1-2 oz per 5 gallons.
