Sunpentown SF-611 Evaporative Air Cooler w/LCD Panel

Keep cool and comfortable with the Sunpentown SF-611 Evaporative Air Cooler. This versatile and economical unit cools air up to 12°F lower than the ambient temperature. Oscillating louvers evenly distribute the cool air throughout the room. The unit can also be used as a fan or humidifier. The LCD panel and remote control allow easy selection of the air speed and wind modes (Normal, Simulated Natural Wind and Sleep modes).

This air cooler works by using water to cool incoming air. Air is sucked through a wick saturated with water, which absorbs the heat from the air and evaporates. The unit blows out air that is considerably cooler than the room temperature. This method of air cooling uses much less energy than an air conditioner.

Note: This unit works well in dry climates. In areas of higher humidity, the unit is not as effective as it utilizes water to cool.
