The Sunpentown WA-1310E Portable Air Conditioner can effectively eliminate microorganisms from indoor air thanks to the technology of UV Germicidal Light (UV-C). The short wavelength (200 to 270 nm) of UV light allows it to penetrate the outer membranes of bacteria, yeasts, mold and viruses. It disables the microorganisms' ability to reproduce by breaking down their DNA.The WA-1310E also includes an ionizer to further improve indoor air quality. This portable air conditioner runs at 13,000 BTU per hour to cool up to 420 square feet as well as remove up to 98 pints of moisture per day. It features 3 fan speeds and includes a digital display, a digital thermostat with a range of 62°F to 90°F and a remote control.
Self-Evaporating Technology
This air conditioner features self-evaporating technology, which extracts water from the air during the cooling process. Most of the water is then recycled and used to cool the cooling coils, making it run more efficiently.
