It features an industry exclusive commercial grade stainless interior and full-extension pull out shelving which makes finding items and restocking your refrigerator easy. The cabinet construction eliminates vibration transfer to the wine. It comes with three refrigerator shelves and two wine shelves with stainless steel fronts, which can store up to 16 wine bottles. The shelves are adjustable and their stainless steel ball bearing glides provide smooth movement of the shelves. These refrigerators are rated for both food and beverage storage. The beverage center can chill soft drinks fast while offering precise temperature control and proper bottle cradling for wine.

The Perlick HP48RB is designed with fully-integrated depth and zero-clearance hinging to allow a flush fit with the surrounding cabinetry. The front-vented, forced-air refrigeration system is powered by one 1,000 BTU Variable Speed Compressor but still has whisper quiet performance which allows it to be used in any room of a residence or office. The temperature range on the refrigerator is adjustable from 33 to 39 degrees F and the Beverage Center is adjustable from 36 to 48 degrees F. It has a digital temperature display and push button control.

The door options that can be used on either compartment include solid stainless steel doors, solid wood overlay doors, and glass doors with either a stainless steel or wood overlay frame. The refridgerator compartment also has the option of stainless steel drawers or wood overlay drawers. The glass doors have low E, UV coated glass which provides industry leading insulation and protection. The overlay doors accept a custom panel to match the surrounding cabinetry.
