| Comments: | Unpacked the unit - all good. Documentation a bit sparse, but it is so straight-forward that it doesn't need it. Extended warranty registration easy. Attached unit to marine battery and 2 15-watt solar panels and started a weekend test. The default low-power-consumption "refrigerator" setting (1) on the temp dial seemed sufficient for most scenarios. Temp guage read 6 degrees Celcius, though ice cubes in a bowl in the freezer section stayed solid. Setting of (2) on the dial showed a -1 degrees celcius - and this is where I'd likely leave it for the weekend. Doesn't seem likely you'd need to run the unit on (5) (the coldest) unless you wanted to re-freeze something. Running unit is a bit louder than I'd hoped for. Would keep you awake in a camper unless you are a good sleeper. Overall a great looking, and so far, great running unit. |
| Bottom Line: | I would recommend this product. |
