Awesome Kegerator

Comments:If your a little, and I mean a little handy you should be able to figure out how it goes together.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Best Christmas Present
by:Mike the Walker (12-24-2009)

Comments:Received it today. Purchased a keg of Schiner Bock from my local liquor store and was ready for the extended Christmas weekend. My only issues are that the holes for the guardrail were not pre-drilled and it didn't come with the washer for the included CO2 cylinder even thought the instructions stated it did. I am still giving it four stars because after my initial disappointment from not being able to use it this weekend I am sure I will enjoy it for years to come.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Pleased with the kegerator!
by:Rusty (09-25-2009)

Comments:I am satisfied with the kegerator. It looks nice and is very functional. It comes with everything you get setup.

Cons: The stainless steel door is a bit difficult to clean finger smudges off. It comes with a most annoying sticker on the door that does not come off easily - be prepared to be scraping with Goo-Off for quite a while. The guardrail pre-marked holes were a little out-of-line. It was difficult to install the tower mounting screws perpendicularly with liitle room for the drill and no pre-drilled holes (but was warned about in advance of purchase though). My castor wheel holes are crooked and thus make my wheels sit slightly off plume.

I am anxious to see if I can fit 3 cornelious kegs in it...don't know yet, but certainly fits two corny kegs very spaciously. Is pretty quiet machine. Comes packed well, although the plug for the top of the fridge/tower sits in crooked when using as a mini-fridge. The "professional guages" are not as good of quality as i expected.

Yes, I would reccommend this product.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Very happy with product
by:Skoot (07-30-2009)

Comments:I should have bought one of these years ago. I had no problems setting it up. I ordered the keg in advance and found a place to fill my CO2 to up so I was ready to go the day I received it.
Beer stays very cold. I love it and my friends love it (of course).
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Happy Birthday!
by:L. Goddard (02-20-2009)

Comments:I got this a few weeks ago for my birthday. I was thrilled when I got. I love that I can dispense two different kinds of kegs. The instructions were easy. Just look up a local gas suppier to fill your co2 tank and you will be good to go. I have just finished my first 5 gallon keg and look forward to getting a new keg!
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Great kegerator some minor setup issues
by:Bryan (02-11-2009)

Comments:Everything about this kegerator is great, it's the kind of thing I wish I bought awhile ago. Some things that are not mentioned in the details. There is a small shelf on the back left for the CO2 canister to rest on with a securing clip that holds it in place and out of the way. It's situated in such a way where you can get at the valves to make adjustments and check the gauge if needed. I can easily fit two 5 gallons in as advertised along with the CO2 canister. It looks very nice and I'd definitely recommend going with the stainless steel door especially considering the negligible cost difference.

Make sure to get the couplers you need (likely American D) and perhaps consider an upgrade to the dual gauge. A backup CO2 canister may be nice to look into buying locally. I had a full CO2 canister and keg ready to go when receiving this so I could test it out right away.

The fridge was packaged very nicely. A few things I would suggest for improvement would have to do with the setup process. As mentioned you do have to drill holes in the top surface in order to attach the larger dual tap tower. I got it centered nicely but it would've been nice to have had the drill areas at least marked if not pre-drilled and the drill bit size mentioned on this site. I figured it out easily enough but was pretty on edge when drilling worried about piercing the inner layer or not centering it correctly. There is a hollow area so when drilling don't worry about piercing the middle too much, the pressure will give away when you hit the hollow area and that's when you can stop drilling. The pre-drilled guard rail holes were not aligned properly for me, they were a good 1/8th of an inch off at least and I ensured that the front ones were lined perfectly so it was definitely not an issue with me installing properly. This was easily remedied however as the screws are small enough and the wood soft enough to screw them in by hand without the drilled holes.

The final problem I had was with the washers, it wasn't clear that the two black washers were for the beer line as they were packaged with the handles and I didn't get to that section of the directions yet that mentions they are for the connection inside the fridge where the beer lines connect to your keg. They were packaged in such a way which made me believe they should be used on top where you screw the taps in (they even fit in there properly but it doesn't screw in if you have them in).

One other thing, there is nothing in the manuals that covers what CO2 pressure to set on your regulator. I'm getting used to it via other sites and trial and error but you may have some foaming or pressure problems at first.

I may not be as handy as other users here but I can't see how this is a 20 minute setup project as previously posted. It took me about two hours but I am very pleased with the final result.

This is a great addition to my game room and I'd highly recommend it for homebrewers especially. I'm going to have one homebrew on tap and one commercial beer and will likely save a good amount of money just buy buying/brewing kegs over cases. I would've given this product a five star rating if I didn't encounter all those problems in setup. Now that it is setup everything is working great though.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Great Kegerator.

Comments:Very happy with the haier dual kegerator. I am a home brewer and I can fit up to 3 cornelius kegs in my unit including all my co2 equipment. The unit is attractive and was easy to assemble. I would recommend this model to my friends.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Looks and Works Great
by:Nick M. (12-29-2008)

Comments:I did some research before buying. I loved the price for a dual kegerator. I also bought the Y splitter which is cool because I have full size keg, but I can dispense out both faucets for faster pouring during a party. Unit so far has run great.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

New Baby

Comments:I love my new dispenser. I got 1 michelob light keg for my wife and an arrogant bastard keg from Stone Brewery for myself. They both fit inside real easy. It took me about 20 minutes to put together. I picked it up in Poway from the Beverage Factory and avoided shipping cost. I recommend that to anyone locally it saves 99.00.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Two kegs are better than one!
by:Troy (10-02-2008)
Pittsburgh
Comments:I love having two kegs on tap at the same time because, let's face it, draft beer tastes better! I always have a 5 gallon keg of Yuengling in my kegerator and rotate the second keg so I keep the variety changing. This kegerator is a great addition to my game room. I went with stainless because it looks more slick and was only a little bit more expensive, I think I made the right choice. I have to crank the temperature down to the coldest setting to get it how I like it but it seems to be handling the workload just fine. If you like draft beer, you NEED to get a kegerator. And if you like microbrews, not watered down fizz, the twin tapper is the best way to go! And do what I do, make sure your buddies pitch in $10 each time they're over and the price becomes VERY affordable. If it keeps up, it'll pay for itself in a year haha!
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

thanks beverage factory
by:Marty (09-03-2008)

Comments:I just want to say thank you to the beverage factory. I ordered two weeks ago for a party I had this past weekend. It took about 6 days for the unit to arrive which gave me plenty of time to set it up and get ready for the party. The tech support at beverage factory was great as they walked me through the steps and were very patient despite the fact that I'm a novice. I had a 5 gallon sam adams keg and a 5 gallon fat tire keg so everybody got to choose what they wanted to drink. It was a total hit at the party and everyone seemed to gather around it. I'm very happy with this purchase and the service I've received from the beverage factory.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Glad I called before I bought
by:Tusca Houndog (07-24-2008)
Tuscaloosa, AL
Comments:The kegerator works great but check what's available in 5 gallon kegs in your area. I thought I could put Budweiser and Dos Equis in there together but they're not available in those size kegs. I've actually found some good microbrews as a result, but I wish I would've known ahead of time. Make sure to add couplers if you don't have them. I didn't pay attention and had to place a second order.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Homebrewer Kegerator
by:homebrewboy (07-21-2008)

Comments:I purchased this for the price. I went with the basic model. I recommend you get the double guage regulator to know how much Co2 is left in the tank. Also maybe a stainless steel drip tray. It comes with a real big plastic one that is works great just doesn't look that nice. The kegerator fits 2 corny kegs (I use ball locks) and has a stainless floor so it won't crack like a plastic floor may.

The kegerator is a very good kegerator for the price and I am happy.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Real good value would recommend.
by:M. Cotton (07-06-2008)

Comments:After reviewing several units I figured out this one has a real stainless door for only 10.00 more than the laminate. My appliances are stainless and it fits in well with them. At first I was going to build it in but learned it wasn't for full time outdoor use. I have taken it out for a couple of BBQ's this summer and it works fine. It is probably best not to leave outside all night if it is warm. The parts were good quality and everything arrived in factory packaging with no damage.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.
