I would rate this beer cooler 5 stars if it wasn’t for the fan noise. This beer cooler is much better than my previous cooler. It produces a great draft of beer. It keeps the beer really cold and produces a great head of foam (not too much or too little).

The fan noise, however, is preventing us from keeping the cooler in the house. It is now located in the garage. I wish there was a way to dampen the noise or a replacement fan that didn’t make so much noise. I told my wife that if we drink enough beer we won’t notice the noise at all :)

This unit works and looks like it did when I rolled it out of F.H. Steinbart Co. store in Portland, Oregon in 1977. I guess they don't make things like they used to, this unit has never had anything go wrong with it.

My first Beverage-Air beer cooler lasted 29 1/2 years with very little maintenance or trouble. Hope this one is just as good. Definitely worth the money.

Great unit when it is working. Keeps kegs at a constant temp and great pours. The problem with mine was reliability. Bought it in 2007 and a little over 2 years the evaporator coil developed a leak. Had the coil replaced by a Bev-air service shop (I wish they had the 3 year warranty back in 2007). Now in 2015 the evaporator coil developed pinhole leaks again. This time it seems to have affected the compressor also. Repair will cost almost as much as a new one.

Best decision I ever made to buy a Beverage Air! Reviews don't do it justice. Coldest beer you will ever drink. I am very happy with the commercial grade of build, should last a very long time. Great customer service

I bought this to replace my 30 yr old Rapids system(still running)at my wife's instistance. It is quieter. My old system had the CO2 tank and gauges on the outside, in back. This was easier to get to, to check the guages, turn on/off the tank. The old one had the compressor and electric on top. This saved its life during hurricane Ike. Hopefully this one will last half as long.

Short story. After I purchased another brand (TR#$ TDD-1)from another vendor, I found it to be very loud and cycled on and off alot. After requesting service I was informed that the manufacturer's warranty was VOID if used in a residence. After returning the unit for a refund I ordered the Beverage Air BM-23. The delvery was VERY prompt and the unit was well protected for shipping. The unit is very quiet, I don't know what some people consider loud but mine sounds like a very small fan running, and it gets very cold very fast. Far superior to what I had. Well worth the money.

This kegerator rocks!! Keeps the keg ice cold and the fan cooled tower is tops. It does make some noise but it's worth it for the ice cold beer it delivers. Very well built and worth the price, this thing will last forever.

Just got my Beverage Air and it's working great, keeping my keg real cold. The tower fan is a big plus for me because it keeps all the beer ice cold, even when it's outside of the fridge. Nice, big, all stainless interior. Couldn't ask for more!

I had to get a unit with football around the corner. I looked forever and just did not want to spend the money on this unit. so I kept searching and always came back to the bm23 because of the fan thing. I wanted to be able to watch a game and then roll it it outside to the pool and it gets hot here. some people say it's kinda loud but its a refrigerator with a fan, it's going to make noise. The fan is what makes that column cold helping your beer cold in the line. I saw a lot of reviews saying it's loud and they just make me laugh...LOL come on people think about it. It makes noise... common sense is just not that common. I want to make it a duel at some point but just got to see if the boss(wife) will let me. The other thing is the rollers on the unit are huge way better then other ones. Taking it outside I have to roll it over my sliding glass door frame and I didn't think the other units rollers were as nice as these ones. I just wanted to write this because I spent days reading reviews on the web. If you are deciding what to get here is some help.

Yeah, it's kinda loud, but it keeps the beer COLD! My dad had a bevair for years so this is actually the second one in our family and I love it. They're bulletproof.

I wanted a unit that would last forever. This sucker keeps my beer cold in the draft tower with the forced fan system which runs a little bit louder than I expected. I prefer noise to foam though. The casters also make it easy to move around.
