Comments:So far so good, the unit is quiet and can hold a fairly steady temperature. This unit should be able to cold crash the bear without any problems
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Comments:This kegerator works great! I really like the blue, digital temperature display on the front of the kegerator. We had a party and floated a 1/2 barrel keg of Coors Light in one night. This thing kept the beer cold, and dispensed flawlessly. I think some of my friends may buy one.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.
Warm Beer
by:BingGape (05-02-2014)
Comments:Whike the unit looks nice, I have it set at 36 degrees, however the beer comes out warm at 43 degrees. We will see what Danby does about it.
Bottom Line:I would not recommend this product.
Excellent, But
by:Kurg (03-10-2014)
Comments:The hole in the kegerator for the line to run to the CO2 tank outside should have two separate inserts. If you want to use a regulator with two separate controls then you will need to enlarge the hole for two lines. Nothing a dremel tool and a little patience can't handle. Other than that , excellent product.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.
Sweet machine

Comments:This is the second Danny I've had. The first one lasted about 9 years. This one is nicer. When I plugged it in it was 77 degrees after 20 mins was 34. Can't say enough about the beverage factory. Easy to deal with more than fair price and I shopped. Was shipped with no damage right away. A+ for them!!!
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.
This unit is solid
by:PBR303 (02-15-2014)

Comments:This thing was easy to put together and arrived damage-free. The cooling is great, I've achieved as low as 34 degrees F. If you are using a dual gauge regulator, it is a very tight fit with a 1/2 barrel. The regulator sticks so far off the co2 tank, that you are unable to turn the tank to slide the keg in and get the door shut. When my first keg is done, I will be mounting the tank on the back of the unit.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.
Nice unit.
by:Ted (01-27-2014)
Sonoma. CA,
Comments:Good kegerator. The digital temp control is a big plus. Conversely, the unit has a hard time staying below 37F, not really all that cold... Another little bummer was that a guest accidently scratched the stainless steel skinned door, and Beverage Factory was no help getting a replacement.

for the price, this is a good deal, but not a great deal.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.
Almost Perfect
by:Jack (12-23-2013)

Comments:Very rich looking, top is a bit chinsy, interior compartment JUST fits a tall 1/4 keg ( (almost doesn't), too soon to tell about reliability.u
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.
a good keg refrigerator

Comments:I went with this one because I had a bunch of stainless appliances I wanted it to match and I liked that it had the temperature display. It really looks great and the stainless goes really well in my kitchen. It's real easy to set up so once you get your tank filled, you're pouring beer in no time. It took me a bit to find a place that would fill my tank instead of trying to exchange it for an old rusty steel one, so you might want to get an extra tank if you have the same situation in your area.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.
Good kegerator

Comments:My wife got this for me last year for my birthday and it's been a great year.

It is so nice to have beer on tap at home. This thing keeps it nice and cold and is real easy to use. The wheels make it easy to move out to the deck if we're having people over.

It's got a lot of plastic parts so at first I thought it might be a little flimsy, but it's held up real well.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.
cold beer, but ...

Comments:My son and I split the cost of a Danby kegarator because we host a very large Halloween party and it is much cheeper to provide keg beer as opposed to can/bottel beer. The kegorator works great but ours is Two years old and a issue with the tempeture control has developed. A reading of "EE" has appered on the display. I would assume it is a code of some sort, but not being a applience repair man I opted to take it to a Danby certified repair center to be repaired. I was told the part that needs replaced will cost $15.00. Sounds very reasonable to me, but we have yet to here from the repair man to come and pick it up. I'm hopeing it will be soon as I could use a cold tap beer. Other than the temp control problem, we have used our Danby Kegarator trouble free and are very satsfied with it.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.
I would buy this product again

Comments:Bought this for my basement bar/fan cave. Was Delivered on time with calls from the shiper setting up day and 30 min heads up call. Only issue was the shelf were not in the unit, but one call to Beveage factory, and the manufactor called me right away and shipped them out. It works great. I have had my first party with it and the beer was nice and cold. It looks great behind my bar. I would recomend this to anyone.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.
Great product

Comments:Very happy with this kegerator, it included everything I needed for dispensing two commercial five-gallon (1/6 barrel) kegs. Comfortably fits two kegs and a CO2 tank. Easy to set up, no complaints. The fridge only goes down to 36 degrees F, but that seems to be an ideal temperature for my kegs. It's not n extremely powerful unit - cooling the beer from about 60 F literally took two days to get down to a reasonable temperature. Check out YouTube for assembly and cleaning tips, there are some great tutorials there.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.
If You Enjoy Beer - Buy One
by:Bart B. (01-16-2013)

Comments:I did research over two evenings, and found the BeverageFactory.com had the best selection when comparing several other online supply stores.

The popularity of the DKC645BLS caused it to go into backorder status, but once it arrived, it was worth the wait.

The unit arrived in excellent condition with no shipping damage, and assembly was easy. As I already had a charged CO2 tank, so the unit was plugged in and ready to serve later that evening.

I can enjoy a beer (or many) by the glass, and I don't have to pay tavern markups. Not having to drive around town to find a “not so crowded bar” and not having to tip also offer immediate cost savings. It's nice to enjoy a drink in an environment without obnoxious patrons screaming at the television, like the sports team can actually hear them.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.
Mostly Satisfied
by:ken (01-06-2013)

Comments:I have my kegerator now for about 2 1/2 weeks now.. first, the negative.

i received the kegerator in good condition except for the temp readout section on the fron of the kegerator was not working properly, and had a small crack in the black molding on top of the unit.

it would hold a temp of 41 degrees but the up/down buttons would not work... so i coulnt lower the temperature at all, and i like my beer colder then 41 degrees.

i called the danby company about the situation, and they seemed to care. A rep had sent me a new temp circut board to replace the origional one with. but im no electrician, so i will be attemping to fix that today.

the unit is nice and quiet when running, and juat barely fits a full half of keystone light in it. its very handy and useful. beats buying cases. And will eventually save me money in the long run.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.
Good Kegerator
by:Arthmael (08-15-2011)

Comments:Everything was as described. Although, I found out an A System 1/2 barrel keg will not fit in the fridge without an elbow fitting. It is 1/4 too tall once coupled with all of the lines. Make sure to buy:

FT872 - Beer Elbow Fitting - Low Profile Out

I have not tried D and S system kegs yet but the couplers have a lower profile.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.
Great Kegerator
by:Joe (11-09-2010)

Comments:Using it with two corny kegs with the CO2 inside. I love the product and found Beverage Factory to be a great retailer. I had concerns about placing the order but found that they made the ordering process easy and are there to help through the whole process. Great experience all the way around.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.
