Well worth the Stainless steel and dual
by:Doc (02-21-2013)
Chesterfield, Missouri
Comments:Well worth the upcharge for the stainless steel front and the dual faucet. Installation was easy, but be sure to use the back flow valves (silicone rubber thingies)... I though they were packing material and threw them out... had to order replacements.
I bought a indoor/outdoor thermometer to monitor temperature in the unit... works well, easy installation. I chose to mount the CO2 cylinder externally (easy to drill hole in the back of the unit). I also bought a honeywell thermostat that overrides the Haier thermostat that had too much variation. With the temperature monitor and the new thermostat the unit is holding at 38 degrees +/- 3 degrees, which is very good.
Beverage Factory is great on not only price, but the packaging is superb, and shipping is fast. I needed to call customer service regarding the back flow valves and they were very helpful in securing replacements.
All in all a very good shopping experience.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Nice product
by:Doc (02-08-2013)

Comments:Delivered on Feb 7th, up and running on Feb 8th. Some difficulty finding a place for CO2, most sources were not close to me and all want to exchange the empty cylinder for a full cylinder. Prices for exchange cylinder in my area are between $12 - $18. Drilled a 1 inch hole in the back of the unit to be able to keep the CO2 cylinder outside the unit (its better this way because its easier to get to the regulator to adjust pressure as needed).
Also installed a Taylor indoor/outdoor thermometer in order to monitor temperature inside the unit (put the temp probe in through the hold drilled for the CO2 hoses). Plugged the drilled hole with silicone sealer.
After set-up and over the next 8 hours, adjusted the thermostat. Needed small adjustments until the inside temperature was between 33 deg and 41 deg. After installation of my first keg, the temperature does not seem to vary as much (the keg metal acts as a moderator of temperature so there are not as wide swings in temp. I expect when my second keg is installed temperature regulation will be even better.
Running the CO2 regulator at 8 psi, and this seems to be a good setting.
Installed a tower cooler (search internet) and this inexpensive unit certainly keeps the beer from foaming excessively due to warm tower or upper hoses/faucet.
Summary: Good kegerator for the money. Easy to assemble. No problems getting cold enough. Quiet running. If thinking of purchasing you may want to consider buying an indoor/outdoor thermometer and a tower cooler.

Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Wonderful machine!!
by:Mitch M (01-02-2013)

Comments:Got this as a gift from my girlfriend. After reading reviews I had mixed feelings about this brand but had no desire to spend $800+ on a kegerator. Received the item Dec. 29th after I was promised a January 3rd delivery date so that was the first plus!! Directions are not the best for assembling the item but if you have ever made ANYTHING with a drill and a few bolts/wing nuts it is basically self explanatory. Read some reviews about the thermostat not getting cold enough so I took extra precaution and let the fridge sit 48 hours before plugging the unit in. Plugged the unit it and let it set at the normal setting for about 30 hours. Tapped my first 1/2 barrel and had a HUGE leak in my regulator (which was one of the major complaints I've read in many reviews... So this was expected) I have a decent knowledge/history of psi regulators and gas lines so I took about 2 hours out of my day to fix the regulator and lines... Cranked my thermostat to the lowest setting and put my CO2 a little higher than recommended just to make sure I don't lose pressure and had ICE cold beer with perfect carbonation and perfect lacing and head retention from about the 3rd or 4th pour (adjusting settings for personal preference). I believe that the other negative reviews have to be from people who got too eager with the product and hooked up the unit to early and didn't allow the unit to sit at the normal setting long enough for the unit to acclimate to the surrounding temperature. I would give this unit 6 stars if I could. If you have a decent understanding of refrigerator mechanisms you will feel the same way. I just poured a full pint after this unit has been sitting for 2 days without a single poor and I'm surprised there aren't ice chips in the mug it's so cold. Great product haier!!!
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Great first kegerator
by:Dasboot (09-19-2012)
Houghton, Michigan
Comments: Had this kegerator for 1 year at college (so far). Never had a problem with the refrigeration acting up. In fact it froze about 7-8 gallons of beer not long ago from having the temp too low. Took like 4 days with the kegerator off and door open to thaw it. This kegerator fits all oversized kegs with room to spare. This thing has plenty of room inside to fit the 5lb tank. The 5lb tank lasted me 15 kegs plus I carbonated 2 home brew corny kegs, pretty sure it still has a little left. I keep the CO2 at like 3 for the crappy light beers when i'm drinking and when i'm done jack it up to 10 or so.

Messed up, didn't get the drip tray. Get the drip tray, its a damn good deal, they are a minimum of $33 online + shipping. If you already have a fridge just drill a hole in it and make your own, save yourself $300 plus $100 shipping. Overall it performs well for the price, it should put you through college. Don't have a fridge/want a kegerator: get this and get drunk
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Great Product and Working Well
by:TD (07-08-2012)
Carlisle, PA
Comments:Have had the product for two weeks and have went through two sixths (kegs) and a quarter keg already with no issues. Easy setup (35 minutes from starting) and kegerator cooled down within the first 2 hours to 34 degrees. Temperature a bit challenging to regulate so I went and bought a simple digial thermometer with chord where I could track the temperature from the outside w/o having to open the door. Recommend a dual guage so you can track your PSI into the keg and how much you have left in your CO2 tank. Very happy with the product and the Beverage Factory staff was very easy and friendly to work with. So far so good with the Haier product. Happy drinking!
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

What are you waiting for?

Comments:After reading review after review on kegerators and this model in particular, I finally bit the bullet and purchased it from Beverage Factory. The price was very good and they were very responsive to all my questions. I am now the proud owner of a triple tap kegerator.

The fridge is quiet and very cold. I put a thermometer inside and it read 35 degs and it wasn't at the lowest setting. It was a snap to put together but I had a kegging system prior so maybe that helped.

The only issue I have with mine is I use 5 gallon pin lock home brew kegs which are a bit wider in diameter than ball lock so I have to elevate the one closest to the door with a small block of wood to allow the door to close. A small price to pay to get three kegs and the CO2 tank inside the fridge.

I thought it would take a while to ship too but boy was I wrong. I got it in CT in less than a week. Packaged well and all parts safe and intact.

I would not only recommend this and BF to a friend, I have! Several times over.

Thank you Beverage Factory! 5 stars for the kegerator and your company!
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Haier Kegerator-Great Product
by:Robes (05-13-2012)
S,E. Michigan
Comments:It's still early. I've only had this for 5 days. So far so good. The first time I fired it up empty. I checked the temp. 34 degrees on the coldest setting. Loaded it up with the tank and a 1/2 barrel of beer. Today I checked it. 35 1/2 degrees. I am very happy with that I believe this Haier product will work out well for me.

I will add a few comments/suggestions to maybe improve on this product.

1. The casters on the bottom should have at least two locking mechanisims to assist in holding this in place on a hard surface.

2. The beverage factory has a check off list they fill out as they pack up the product for shipping. I received everything I was supposed to get except the gasket for the CO2 tank. I've read on some blogs where this is a common problem when it arrives. You would think that this problem would be rectified by now. It wasn't a big problem. I went to a store across town that works with the home brewing crowd. They had what I needed.

Other than that issue, I would highly recommend this product.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Works great, no problems!
by:DSM_Scott (02-04-2012)

Comments:I ordered this refrigerator kit with the dual-gauge regulator about eight months ago. Came in about a week packaged well and in good condition. It was assembled in about an hour, and was very easy to put together with basic tools. It took some time to get the co2 pressure and thermostat where I wanted it (38-42F and 8PSI for my busch light), but once I got it the thermostat and regulator settings stayed accurate and didn't creep and have never needed adjustment again. Everything seems to be good quality and has worked well over the last eight months and about seven or eight kegs. I couldn't be happier. One feature I wanted on other models was a digital thermometer, which I easily replicated with an automotive style indoor/outdoor thermometer I got at Walmart for $5. I mounted the sensor inside and the display outside, and it works great! Although the interior temperature isn't an issue after you get the thermostat set where you want it. The only other 'complaint' I have is that it doesn't have automatic defrost like a full size refrigerator, after a few months the coil inside gets all iced up and needs to be defrosted, but this is not a big deal and I think most of the refrigerators like this work the same way. It's very easy to do, just defrost it when you're changing out the keg.

Overall, I think it is a great unit and a good value. It looks great sitting in my kitchen, looks like a quality appliance and not some homemade piece of junk like some of the do it yourself ones do that are only fit to be in a garage or basement. Definitely not something that needs to be hidden in a closet.

I would highly reccomend it to anyone who wants a quality unit without spending a fortune.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Great Kegerator/Great Experience
by:Mike (02-02-2012)
Oak Harbor
Comments:All around a great product was easy to put together and have had it running with a cup of water inside (homebrewer and don't have one ready to go yet) and the temp is sitting at 38.

Had a washer missing for co2 tank emailed Beverage Factory and within a day they had sent out a new one for me. Product was well packaged and delivered quickly to my house.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Ahhh!!
by:Hoppily Addicted (01-14-2012)
Beer, Cheese, Packers....guess where?
Comments:I purchased this kegerator one year ago and couldn't be happier. I ordered it with three ball lock homebrew connections, but converted one to a sankey tap. I typically have one domestic light beer 1/4 barrel on the bottom with two 3 gallon homebrew kegs sitting on top. It's a tight fit, but worth it. Several kegs cashed and still working on the original CO2 fill. I am very happy with this purchase! Enjoy!
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Works Great
by:Jolly Good Fellow (12-13-2011)

Comments:Works great. No complaints. Easily holds two 1/6th barrel kegs with room to spare for a couple large bottles of wine for my wife. Stays nice a cold and I have two choices of very good draft beer. Can't see how it gets much better.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Great Product
by:Semifish (11-29-2011)
Medford Lakes, NJ
Comments:First of all it will hold any size keg you can get. First one was Miller Lite. Has plenty of room inside. Very quiet operation too when the compressor cycles on and off. Maintains perfect beer temperature 37-38 Deg F. Very easy to assemble. Note, the washer that comes packaged with the beer tower is wrapped with the tap handle and easy to lose so be careful. It is for the line connecting the tower to the tap itself. The pilot holes for the tower to the fridge were useless and the female thread machine screws that hold the CO tank to the inside did not line up. These are real minor issues though. My only complaint is the fridge has a 10 degree swing when the compressor kicks on and off. If your looking for a reasonably priced fridge this is the unit for you. Shipped cross country in only four business days too. Awesome I love it!
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Decent Kegerator for the money
by:Wilbur the Wildcat (12-14-2010)
Tucson, AZ
Comments:Bought the product in April 2010 and it came with all of the equipment needed to put it together. There is quite a bit of foam on the first couple of pours as other reviewers had mentioned. I turned down the psi but ti didn't have an effect on the foam and was not carbonated enough so I put it back up to 14 and it's much better in terms of the carbonation but the foam is just something you have to live with. I noticed after I cleaned the faucet after each keg that the plunger on the inside sticks. Called customer service today and they said that's just a side effect of that type of faucet. He recommended that I upgrade to the Perlick which wasn't available as an upgrade when I purchased the product. To get the beer cold enough, I need to have it turned all the way down and use chilled glasses. Overall, not bad for the money but you need to accept certain short comings.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Love it
by:Sdboltsfan (09-21-2010)

Comments:I really can't be much happier with this product. There are however a couple things I will note. Make sure you know what beers you want the most often before purchasing the additional coupler. I purchased the import coupler without thinking about it and ended up returning it for another domestic. There are a ton of great beers that use the american standard coupler, like Bear Valley's Racer 5! I also wanted to have one lite and one premium beer on hand. Most domestic's don't carry a 5 gallon keg of lite but I got lucky because Miller lite has a pony that is not the normal size and is just a little wider and taller, but fits next to a 5 gallon. The money you save over bottles or cans isen't huge but the taste is.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Great Kegerator!
by:Crashax513 (05-11-2010)
Streamwood, Il
Comments:I've wanted a kegerator for so long. I finaly broke down ans got one for myself. I did a lot of research over a few week period. I looked at various products on different websites. I found a lot of reviews on this product. Now I looked on Beverage factory and they were newer reviews. 2009-10. Everyone seemed to be happy with it. Sounds like they worked out all the kinks over the past few years. My only down side to this product was that it didnt come with the screws to attach the tower and rail. Seemed like every one had some parts missing. But, other then that I think that this will be a great addition to my Bar.
Also, i have my CO2 set at 6-8. ive hear 12-14. I think thats to high. Comes out to fast and to much foam. But over all no problems with leaking CO2. Would be nice if it was a dual reading gauge. One for the CO2 tank and one for the pressure for the beer.
Hope this help any one this is looking to buy it. I know it made my choice easy.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Great Price / Great Value / Great Beer!
by:JD (05-03-2010)
Middletown, DE
Comments:I waited quite a while to purchase a Kegerator and am very happy that I purchased this one. The entire experience was outstanding from the online purchase at night, to order confirmation, to the final shipment and delivery. The product was packed very well and there were no issues with missing parts. The entire set up was 30 to 45 minutes and then I was loading the keg....OH YEA! After a couple of days, the beer settled at a refreshing 35 degrees and was tasting great! I must also mention that the Beverage Factory has outstanding customer service. I noticed some blemishes on the front door of the unit and called to report it to customer service. They not only were responsive to my call, I had a new replacement door within 4 days of the call.
I would highly recommend the Beverage Factory!
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Excellent Value

Comments:I did a great deal of research prior to purchasing this particular model. Temperature was a priority, as I noticed alot of consumers complaining that they were not getting cold enough temps on other models. It goes together very easy. Looks nice, and pours cold (consistent) beer without excess foam. I am very pleased with mine and it didn't cost an arm/leg.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Exellent!!

Comments:I bought this cooler about 7 months ago. i am on my 6th keg and from the first beer until the one last night this cooler had performed perfectly! every beer has come out just about perfect. if i havent had one in a while then the first one gets a little too much head... aside from that it has outperformed my expectations!
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Best Christmas Present
by:Mike the Walker (12-24-2009)
San Antonio, TX
Comments:Received it today. Purchased a keg of Schiner Bock from my local liquor store and was ready for the extended Christmas weekend. My only issues are that the holes for the guardrail were not pre-drilled and it didn't come with the washer for the included CO2 cylinder even thought the instructions stated it did. I am still giving it four stars because after my initial disappointment from not being able to use it this weekend I am sure I will enjoy it for years to come.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Very Nice Keg Tap

Comments:This bad boy saves me alot of money and trips to the grocery store for beer. Like the design and ease of use. I currently have to different 5 gallon kegs from a local brewery. Works great.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Excellant Kegerator
by:Duff (11-18-2009)
Royal Oak, MI.
Comments:I researched numerous kegerators and found that this one was the best one. It was easy to assembly and works great. The temp is cold and there is even enough room in the kegerator to store a few mugs. I do recommand buying a new tap to pull on that dispenses the beer. The one they provide works but is small and real cheap looking. Overall it is terrific and I get a lot of compliments.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Happily Suprised with this Kegerator
by:Chiro Drinker (11-10-2009)

Comments:To be honest I have been surprised how well this kegerator has kept my beer cold. Installtion only took me about a half an hour. I like how its quiet and so far I have dipsensed 4 kegs off a single co2 fill.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

WOW!
by:Fish Hunter (11-05-2009)
Arlington, Washington
Comments:Just for the record; The entire purchase was not flawless....

I finally made the choice to buy my new kegerator. I then placed my order and waited for the date that I would be delivered my new toy.
It was said that the time it would be at my home was between 12am to 4pm. After 6:27pm it was finally delivered.

When I unpacked the box I found each and every piece that was needed to manufacture the my kegerator in less than ever imagined.

The entire system, from the fridge to the upgraded co2 gage worked as advertised. For the price and the many homemade, and commercially manufactured kegerators, this is a no brainer.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Good value
by:armyb77 (10-17-2009)
Carthage, NY
Comments:After searching a lot of different models of kegerators out there, I finally settled on this unit. Although the reviews were not great it had the best features for the price out there. The temperature problem seems to have been resolved, and I did get everything that was suppose to come with the unit. (most people complained about a missing washer.) The secret as with most kegerators is to allow 24 to 36 hours for the refrigerator to stabilize the temperature before putting a Keg in it. It is one of the few Kegerators that can fit a Coors Light 1/2 barrel keg. Also I the C02 tank is inside the fridge. Most other models it is on the outside which makes you unable to push it flush against the wall.

So here are the bads:
1. D style coupler is metal outside with mostly plastic internal parts so i don't know that it will hold up in the long run.
2. The restrainer for the C02 tank came with 2 mounting screws but the pilot holds for it was too small to use. The screws are not self tapping. (i don't plan on moving the kegerator around so i doubt the C02 tank will ever fall even without the restrainer.
3. The screws for the tower are standard fillips head self tapping screws it is hard not to strip the screws when mounting, a hex or Allen wrench style would have been better.
4. The wheels do come with it, however there is no locks on it so it will just roll everywhere which makes it very hard to use with them. I choose to do with out them.

Hope this helps those considering this kegerator. The bads to me are very minor and overall I feel this was a great value.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Pleased with the kegerator!
by:Rusty (09-25-2009)
Houston, TX
Comments:I am satisfied with the kegerator. It looks nice and is very functional. It comes with everything you get setup.

Cons: The stainless steel door is a bit difficult to clean finger smudges off. It comes with a most annoying sticker on the door that does not come off easily - be prepared to be scraping with Goo-Off for quite a while. The guardrail pre-marked holes were a little out-of-line. It was difficult to install the tower mounting screws perpendicularly with liitle room for the drill and no pre-drilled holes (but was warned about in advance of purchase though). My castor wheel holes are crooked and thus make my wheels sit slightly off plume.

I am anxious to see if I can fit 3 cornelious kegs in it...don't know yet, but certainly fits two corny kegs very spaciously. Is pretty quiet machine. Comes packed well, although the plug for the top of the fridge/tower sits in crooked when using as a mini-fridge. The "professional guages" are not as good of quality as i expected.

Yes, I would reccommend this product.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Boyfriend LOVES this gift
by:Liz (09-03-2009)
Plainfiled, Connecticut
Comments:I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday in August 09.. I'm tired of the beer cans collecting in the garage from him and all his buddies. It was delivered on a Friday morning and pouring beer that afternoon. It took a day to get the pressure right but this is the BEST gift ever for the beer drinker. Delivery was perfect, the driver helped while I took it out of the package. Was packaged perfectly for shipment. I had one small cosmetic problem with a exterior part and customer service was fantastic. I love it!
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Fresh - Cold Beer
by:D. B. Cooper (05-23-2009)
Elk Grove, CA
Comments:I am slowly turning my girlfriends house into a bachlor pad. So far she is okay with it. This is our latest addition. We make about 5 gallons of home brew / week. It is much easier to keg it and dispense it, rather than bottle it.
The stainless steel door is nice and a selling point to my GF. Though it arrives with a sticker on the door that does not come off easily. I finished 3 or 4 beers before it was completly off.
Also, I upgraded the CO2 regulator but it hardly seems "professional". They supply these little plastic hose clamps that allow gas to leak at the fittings, change them out for real screw drive hose clamps. Also, I think I may have an internal leak inside the regulator, I tend to go through a bottle of CO2 much faster than my other keg dispenser.. on my boat.
Overall the problems are minor with this unit. I enjoy the ease with which I may have a fresh - cold beer. I recomend it for any home... or transforming bachlor pad application.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Good Kegarator
by:Cuz Cuz (03-16-2009)
Tuolumne, California
Comments:This was purchased for home use. It has been a really nice addition to the garage, it keeps the beer really cold and the settings were easy to use to adjust the co2. It was also easy to put together and took little time. The only negative was that it came in two shipments on seperate days. OTher than that i would recommend this product to everyone who enjoys beer at home and on tap.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Happy Birthday!
by:L. Goddard (02-20-2009)
Culver City, CA
Comments:I got this a few weeks ago for my birthday. I was thrilled when I got. I love that I can dispense two different kinds of kegs. The instructions were easy. Just look up a local gas suppier to fill your co2 tank and you will be good to go. I have just finished my first 5 gallon keg and look forward to getting a new keg!
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Great kegerator some minor setup issues
by:Bryan (02-11-2009)
Allentown, PA
Comments:Everything about this kegerator is great, it's the kind of thing I wish I bought awhile ago. Some things that are not mentioned in the details. There is a small shelf on the back left for the CO2 canister to rest on with a securing clip that holds it in place and out of the way. It's situated in such a way where you can get at the valves to make adjustments and check the gauge if needed. I can easily fit two 5 gallons in as advertised along with the CO2 canister. It looks very nice and I'd definitely recommend going with the stainless steel door especially considering the negligible cost difference.

Make sure to get the couplers you need (likely American D) and perhaps consider an upgrade to the dual gauge. A backup CO2 canister may be nice to look into buying locally. I had a full CO2 canister and keg ready to go when receiving this so I could test it out right away.

The fridge was packaged very nicely. A few things I would suggest for improvement would have to do with the setup process. As mentioned you do have to drill holes in the top surface in order to attach the larger dual tap tower. I got it centered nicely but it would've been nice to have had the drill areas at least marked if not pre-drilled and the drill bit size mentioned on this site. I figured it out easily enough but was pretty on edge when drilling worried about piercing the inner layer or not centering it correctly. There is a hollow area so when drilling don't worry about piercing the middle too much, the pressure will give away when you hit the hollow area and that's when you can stop drilling. The pre-drilled guard rail holes were not aligned properly for me, they were a good 1/8th of an inch off at least and I ensured that the front ones were lined perfectly so it was definitely not an issue with me installing properly. This was easily remedied however as the screws are small enough and the wood soft enough to screw them in by hand without the drilled holes.

The final problem I had was with the washers, it wasn't clear that the two black washers were for the beer line as they were packaged with the handles and I didn't get to that section of the directions yet that mentions they are for the connection inside the fridge where the beer lines connect to your keg. They were packaged in such a way which made me believe they should be used on top where you screw the taps in (they even fit in there properly but it doesn't screw in if you have them in).

One other thing, there is nothing in the manuals that covers what CO2 pressure to set on your regulator. I'm getting used to it via other sites and trial and error but you may have some foaming or pressure problems at first.

I may not be as handy as other users here but I can't see how this is a 20 minute setup project as previously posted. It took me about two hours but I am very pleased with the final result.

This is a great addition to my game room and I'd highly recommend it for homebrewers especially. I'm going to have one homebrew on tap and one commercial beer and will likely save a good amount of money just buy buying/brewing kegs over cases. I would've given this product a five star rating if I didn't encounter all those problems in setup. Now that it is setup everything is working great though.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Comments:Very happy with the haier dual kegerator. I am a home brewer and I can fit up to 3 cornelius kegs in my unit including all my co2 equipment. The unit is attractive and was easy to assemble. I would recommend this model to my friends.

Looks and Works Great
by:Nick M. (12-29-2008)
Tacoma, WA
Comments:I did some research before buying. I loved the price for a dual kegerator. I also bought the Y splitter which is cool because I have full size keg, but I can dispense out both faucets for faster pouring during a party. Unit so far has run great.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Good kegerator
by:Bubba (10-13-2008)
Mississippi
Comments:Nice kegerator overall. Stainless steel plate on the bottom, great looking unit, nice draft arm and tap. The quality is as good as I was expecting, especially for the price. My only negatives are that it needs to be cranked down all the way to get the beer as cold as I like it, and it didn't come with a cleaning kit.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Birthday Present

Comments:I purchased this for my boyfriend and he loves it. He makes his own beer and he has put two kegs in it. I maybe should have got the 2 faucet one. He called the Beverage Factory and was told the tap and parts could be ordered seperate. So far he seems to be real happy.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Comments:I love my new dispenser. I got 1 michelob light keg for my wife and an arrogant bastard keg from Stone Brewery for myself. They both fit inside real easy. It took me about 20 minutes to put together. I picked it up in Poway from the Beverage Factory and avoided shipping cost. I recommend that to anyone locally it saves 99.00.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

a good option for the price
by:drunk in public (10-03-2008)

Comments:I like to throw parties and when I throw parties, I like to have kegs. I got tired of renting those crappy hand pumps and buying bags and bags of ice and still ending up with foamy beer and a tired arm. I wanted a kegerator but didn't want to break the bank. This kegerator is perfect for me. I don't keep a keg in it all the time so I can use it as a fridge for extra storage but when it's time to party, it's so nice to have that beer a simple pull away. I don't miss those hand pumps at all!

My only issue is that I sometimes have to throw a bag of ice on top of the keg. I talked to the guys at Beverage Factory about a foam problem I was having and because it wasn't staying below 38 degrees all the time, the beer could come out foamy from time to time. The unit seems to go between 37 and 41 degrees when it cycles and if it's in between cycles, there's foam. If it starts to get foamy, throwing the ice bag on top takes care of it and it still functions a lot better than a hand pump!

This kegerator is perfect for me because I wanted something cheap and don't mind the occasional bag of ice, but I gave it a three star rating because it's definitely not the top of the line.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Two kegs are better than one!
by:Troy (10-02-2008)
Pittsburgh
Comments:I love having two kegs on tap at the same time because, let's face it, draft beer tastes better! I always have a 5 gallon keg of Yuengling in my kegerator and rotate the second keg so I keep the variety changing. This kegerator is a great addition to my game room. I went with stainless because it looks more slick and was only a little bit more expensive, I think I made the right choice. I have to crank the temperature down to the coldest setting to get it how I like it but it seems to be handling the workload just fine. If you like draft beer, you NEED to get a kegerator. And if you like microbrews, not watered down fizz, the twin tapper is the best way to go! And do what I do, make sure your buddies pitch in $10 each time they're over and the price becomes VERY affordable. If it keeps up, it'll pay for itself in a year haha!
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

low price, high quality
by:Eddie the Drinker (10-02-2008)
Kalamazoo, MI
Comments:I like to have a keg around so I can pour a glass of beer at the end of the day. This unit is great in that I don't have to worry about bottles, bottle caps, cans, recycling or any of that. All I have to do is pull a lever and drink the beer, and I'm good at that! I don't ever really use the refrigerator feature because I pretty much replace the keg whenever I'm done with it.

If I had to pick something that's not great about it, the temperature can fluctuate and when it gets at the high end, the beer gets foamy.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

My new haier
by:1 Nascar Fan (09-22-2008)
Raleigh NC
Comments:After speaking with the Sales department at Beverage Factory. I decided to go with this model because of the price and value. It has a stainless steel door (it is not a silver laminate). Also it does have shelves which is conveniant to use as a second refrigerator when I won't have a keg. The packaging upon shipment was excellent it was double boxed and arrived in great shape.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

thanks beverage factory
by:Marty (09-03-2008)
Newark, NJ
Comments:I just want to say thank you to the beverage factory. I ordered two weeks ago for a party I had this past weekend. It took about 6 days for the unit to arrive which gave me plenty of time to set it up and get ready for the party. The tech support at beverage factory was great as they walked me through the steps and were very patient despite the fact that I'm a novice. I had a 5 gallon sam adams keg and a 5 gallon fat tire keg so everybody got to choose what they wanted to drink. It was a total hit at the party and everyone seemed to gather around it. I'm very happy with this purchase and the service I've received from the beverage factory.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Good buy!
by:Rick W. (08-08-2008)
Los Angeles, CA
Comments:I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before I went with this kegerator and I've been very impressed. The beer is kept cold enough for me and tastes great. I keep a keg of Newcastle and I have become the envy of all my friends, I might need to start charging! All of the tapping components that came with it are good quality, I threw away the plastic snap clamps and got some metal ones locally.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Great Value for the price
by:John in Idaho (08-01-2008)
Boise Idaho
Comments:Only 25 dollars more for a real Stainless Door help me make my decision. This unit also came with shelves so I have used it in between kegs as an extra refrigerator. All in all it was a great value and is working excellent in my home.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

2 Faucet Kegerator
by:Desert Rat (08-01-2008)
Santee CA
Comments:I like a variety of beers from the mircro-breweries. This kegerator serves the purpose fine. It is a pretty quiet model I have it in the family room and it doesn't distract me or my family. The unit was easy to assemble and was delivered on time. I did call to verify the unit was in stock. I would recommend upgrading the drip tray I am going to purchase the stainless one in the near future. The current drip tray is very large, but, it is plastic.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

a perfect fit
by:a friend to beer (07-31-2008)
Denair, CA
Comments:I have been looking for a kegerator for a long while now. It gets confusing trying to figure out what the major differences are between all the units. I finally came to the understanding that this model can hold every size and brand keg and all the beer parts inside the unit. It was easy to set up. I am only half way through my first keg. So far so go.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Great kegerator, great price
by:Jody (07-30-2008)
Quakertown, PA
Comments:I got this kegerator because the sales guy said it was one of the best values. After using it for about a week I would have to agree. Got it up and running in about 20 minutes. I think the extra $50 or so is well worth it and apparently so do all my friends.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Double the Pleasure!
by:Stern0885 (07-28-2008)
Atlanta, GA
Comments:I love this kegerator! Bought it to have draft beer on tap and it does a great job. I like the stainless steel on the bottom so the keg doesn't scratch up the plastic. I've even wheeled it outside for a BBQ and it worked like a champ!
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Glad I called before I bought
by:Tusca Houndog (07-24-2008)
Tuscaloosa, AL
Comments:The kegerator works great but check what's available in 5 gallon kegs in your area. I thought I could put Budweiser and Dos Equis in there together but they're not available in those size kegs. I've actually found some good microbrews as a result, but I wish I would've known ahead of time. Make sure to add couplers if you don't have them. I didn't pay attention and had to place a second order.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Homebrewer Kegerator
by:homebrewboy (07-21-2008)
Eugene Or
Comments:I purchased this for the price. I went with the basic model. I recommend you get the double guage regulator to know how much Co2 is left in the tank. Also maybe a stainless steel drip tray. It comes with a real big plastic one that is works great just doesn't look that nice. The kegerator fits 2 corny kegs (I use ball locks) and has a stainless floor so it won't crack like a plastic floor may.

The kegerator is a very good kegerator for the price and I am happy.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Cold beer on tap, what could be better?
by:Drinking Problem (07-14-2008)
New Jersey
Comments:My basement is officially complete! I love having beer on tap and this kegerator works perfectly. I turn it down to the coldest setting and it keeps my beer ice cold. It's a good quality fridge, and the price was definitely right. I love it so much I've even inspired a few friends to get their own!
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Guinness Lover
by:Dave Waters (07-11-2008)
Boulder, CO
Comments:I got this originally for Guinness and didn't realize that it's a whole different ball game. I had to buy another few hundred dollars worth of parts to get it all set up and running but boy is it worth it! There's nothing like Guinness on tap at the house, I wish it came in the 5 gallon kegs but I guess the full size just keeps me drinking! I haven't run any beer besides Guinness so I can't say how the standard parts perform but I've been thrilled with my experience.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Real good value would recommend.
by:M. Cotton (07-06-2008)
Bend Oregon
Comments:After reviewing several units I figured out this one has a real stainless door for only 10.00 more than the laminate. My appliances are stainless and it fits in well with them. At first I was going to build it in but learned it wasn't for full time outdoor use. I have taken it out for a couple of BBQ's this summer and it works fine. It is probably best not to leave outside all night if it is warm. The parts were good quality and everything arrived in factory packaging with no damage.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

perfect for me
by:TarHeel23 (07-04-2008)
Charlotte, NC
Comments:This is perfect for me. I have people over for events from time to time and wanted a kegerator that I could serve beer out of when they're here. I don't drink a ton otherwise and the fact that this one can be used as a fridge when you don't have beer in it is a big plus. The shelves go in and out very easily. Setup of the draft system is pretty simple too. And if you ever want to put just a pony or 5 gallon keg in there for personal use, the beer line is kong enough to reach them, no problem.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Good product, no problems!
by:J. Romero (06-27-2008)
Las Vegas, NV
Comments:I ordered this as a gift to myself and I've been very pleased with the unit. It was easy to set up and the instructions were straight forward. I've gone through several kegs now and I feel like I've had better and better luck each time. My first keg my tank leaked but I'm thinking it was my own fault since it hasn't happened since. I had the back frost up on me once but that wasn't the hardest thing to take care of. Auto defrost would be nice but I've looked around since and couldn't find one online so I don't feel too bad about my decision. All in all, I've been very pleased with the unit and would recommend it, especially considering the price.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Awesome!
by:Aaron D. (06-02-2008)
Seattle, WA
Comments:I love it. I've had this kegerator for 3 weeks and it's working great, not a single complaint. Keeps my beer cold, ready to drink at any time. I have a keg of Coors Light in it now and it fits fine. I think if you went with a bigger tank it would be tight but the one that came with it works. I couldn't be happier.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

It fits
by:buddy (06-02-2008)
columbus, Oh
Comments:Well I was told that this unit did not hold coors kegs. I got it anway bc it was a great price. They were wrong!! I fit a full size coors keg in it this weekend after my buddy told me it would fit. I want to let you all know it fits so if you need a good unit at a good price this is the one.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.
