Good Well Made Regulator
by:Richard (02-11-2014)

Comments:I use this in my beer kegging. Work as well as can be expected. The handle on the adjusting screw makes it very easy to get the correct pressure - No screw drivers needed to keep near the regulator to adjust pressure. I did have a leak where the barbed connector screws into the shut off valve. The barbed connector has a straight thread without an O-ring or gasket. Thread sealant does not work well with straight threads, so I installed a thin O-ring lubricated with a drop of silicone oil to prevent the O-ring from pinching during the tighting of the barbed connector. Simple fix to the problem. Don't know what the designers planned to prevent leaks, but that was my answer.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Works great
by:Bubba (09-11-2013)

Comments:Works as expected. My one irritation is that the adjusting screw comes completely out of the regulator body if you unscrew it too far. The instructions say to turn it as far as it will go, but that is obviously wrong.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Excellet Product
by:The Soda Man (08-27-2013)
Katy, TX
Comments:I replaced a cheep starter regulator wit this one....what a difference. I should know to just buy qualityu top start with. I am carbonating homemade soda, not beer, so i need higher pressures. i think the cheap regulator was over pressurizing causing alot of foaming issues.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

an upgrade
by:Rlon (08-15-2013)

Comments:A real upgrade from the regulator that came in the fridge conversion kit I bought here. Well worth the extra few bucks. Probably a 5 star item but I've only used it a couple of months.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

good regulator for the price
by:Mark (07-24-2008)
Decatur, GA
Comments:It's a pretty solid little regulator for the price and I like that it's adjustable by hand. It used to suck having to have a screwdriver to adjust the pressure on my old one so not needing a tool comes in handy. Just watch out for a leak out the front of the regulator. It's an easy thing to correct by taking the front of the regulator off and adjusting the diaphragm, but I wasn't paying attention and lost two tanks of Co2 before I realized what was going on. Now that I know, I'd buy it again.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.
