Comments:Bought this for my basement bar/fan cave. Was Delivered on time with calls from the shiper setting up day and 30 min heads up call. Only issue was the shelf were not in the unit, but one call to Beveage factory, and the manufactor called me right away and shipped them out. It works great. I have had my first party with it and the beer was nice and cold. It looks great behind my bar. I would recomend this to anyone.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

cold beer, but ...

Comments:My son and I split the cost of a Danby kegarator because we host a very large Halloween party and it is much cheeper to provide keg beer as opposed to can/bottel beer. The kegorator works great but ours is Two years old and a issue with the tempeture control has developed. A reading of "EE" has appered on the display. I would assume it is a code of some sort, but not being a applience repair man I opted to take it to a Danby certified repair center to be repaired. I was told the part that needs replaced will cost $15.00. Sounds very reasonable to me, but we have yet to here from the repair man to come and pick it up. I'm hopeing it will be soon as I could use a cold tap beer. Other than the temp control problem, we have used our Danby Kegarator trouble free and are very satsfied with it.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

If You Enjoy Beer - Buy One
by:Bart B. (11-14-2009)

Comments:I did research over two evenings, and found the BeverageFactory.com had the best selection when comparing several other online supply stores.

The popularity of the DKC645BLS caused it to go into backorder status, but once it arrived, it was worth the wait.

The unit arrived in excellent condition with no shipping damage, and assembly was easy. As I already had a charged CO2 tank, so the unit was plugged in and ready to serve later that evening.

I can enjoy a beer (or many) by the glass, and I don't have to pay tavern markups. Not having to drive around town to find a “not so crowded bar” and not having to tip also offer immediate cost savings. It's nice to enjoy a drink in an environment without obnoxious patrons screaming at the television, like the sports team can actually hear them.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

mostly satisfied

Comments:I have my kegerator now for about 2 1/2 weeks now.. first, the negative.

i received the kegerator in good condition except for the temp readout section on the fron of the kegerator was not working properly, and had a small crack in the black molding on top of the unit.

it would hold a temp of 41 degrees but the up/down buttons would not work... so i coulnt lower the temperature at all, and i like my beer colder then 41 degrees.

i called the danby company about the situation, and they seemed to care. A rep had sent me a new temp circut board to replace the origional one with. but im no electrician, so i will be attemping to fix that today.

positives:

the unit is nice and quiet when running, and juat barely fits a full half of keystone light in it. its very handy and useful. beats buying cases. And will eventually save me money in the long run.

Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

A good keg refrigerator
by:J. Torrs (08-13-2008)

Comments:I went with this one because I had a bunch of stainless appliances I wanted it to match and I liked that it had the temperature display. It really looks great and the stainless goes really well in my kitchen. It's real easy to set up so once you get your tank filled, you're pouring beer in no time. It took me a bit to find a place that would fill my tank instead of trying to exchange it for an old rusty steel one, so you might want to get an extra tank if you have the same situation in your area.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.

Great unit
by:G. Fossett (07-31-2008)

Comments:I got this unit because wanted to be able to see what the temperature of the kegs was. The other units have a regular dial and this one has a digital display. It gets the beer down in the 30's perfect for warm summer days.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.
