This is a very nice Kegerator I think for someone who is just starting out like myself. I went with a 3 tap because I wanted 2 beer taps and a soda water tap.

The kegerator is super awesome and it would have received 5 stars but the description is misleading.

In the description it says you can drop the temp to 32F and go up to 75F so you can use it to ferment.
Well my first beer was a Lager so I was going to use this to Ferment the beer through all of its stages.

The Kegerator has the ability to get down to 32F but it has no heating element. So you cannot put your fermenting carboy and set it to 72F. It will will drop in temp slowly but it will only drop to whatever the temp is outside and it will take a very long time for the temp to drop since it is insulated fairly well.

So keep that in mind if you were planning on using it to ferment a beer that requires a higher temp than it is outside. You will have to use another method.

The only other thing I would have liked to see changed is the length of the beer line is only 4 or 5ft. I wish each line was between 8-10ft.

I have found that if you buy a tower cooler than you don't have to worry too much about foamy pours. The other option to reduce foamy pours would be to increase line length.

Great product for home brew fermentation, cold crashing, and serving:
1) Has curved compressor bulge which greatly increases effective / usable space
2) Digital control is accurate, deep chill super useful for cold-crashing
3) stainless steel floor ideal for frequent shuffling in and out of carboys and kegs

Took receipt a week ago. We recently finished our basement and built a bar. This kegco was a finishing piece. Had been shopping for a good 18-24 months. Read a lot of reviews on various models from a variety of sites. Chose this model because it seemed to be a solid starter unit and ready to go out of the box requiring little tinkering (I am not handy or mechanically inclined). Have been 100% pleased with the choice as it was up and running in short order. I have not checked temperature against a thermometer but the wife and I are pleased with the cold temperature control. The first pour has a little foam as expected but it's not so bad to warrant the cost of a tower cooler in my opinion (two to three fingers worth of foam on a 12-16 ounce pour).

Good but... I recommend this product.

The adhesive button and/or digital read out section had a area small enough not to complain but, never the less a blemish. Over all still pleased...

High tech, well built, high capacity! I recommend this product.

The deep freeze feature is awesome for getting your kegs cold quickly. The digital thermostat makes things easy. The one thing I wish it had was a back port to keep the CO2 tank on the outside, but that's small potatoes and easily DIY'd.

The Perlick faucets are definitely worth the upgrade, and they look damn good. Other faucets can have longevity issues (plating chips, corrosion).

I have had this kegerator since August and love it. I can not only fit 2 1/6 kegs but it will also accommodate a tall 1/4 keg with a 1/6 keg. Went together with little fuss in about 45 minutes. Keeps keg nice and cold and taps perfectly every time. I would definatley recommend this product.

I was amazed by how well this unit was packaged for shipping. Set-up was a breeze! After plugging the unit in I set the digital temperature control to 38 degrees, sat a gallon pitcher of water with a remote temperature sensor in it on the keg plate. Checked the temperature the next morning and was happy to see 38 degrees on the remote unit display, it's held at 38 degrees ever since.

This was a big purchase for me. Once I knew I was actually buying a fridge (as opposed to converting one) I decided to go ahead and get one that could fit multiple kegs with two faucets. Might as well right! Currently I have a slim quarter and a sixth installed with a little room to spare. I think I could fit 2 slim quarters as the inside of the door is recessed a little. From the outside it is about the size of a dishwasher.

It will take a few days to cool down completely, but then the ambient tempature inside will match the display. I keep it on 33°F with no problems. You can use deep chill for the first few hours when you first put a keg in. Also, you will be fiddling with the regulator some and opening the door alot makes it harder to get cool.

I installed this unit under my workbench in the garage and mounted the tower to my workbench surface. I used a 6" piece of 2" PVC as a spacer and used and upside down shower drain as a flange to attach to the fridge. Multiple lengths of screws are included. I also had just enough room to put foam insulation down inside the PVC around the beer lines. The tower includes nice rubber insulation as well.

Finally, I find it much easier to pour into a pitcher as opposed to straight into a pint glass. There will be a little foam as the beer in the lines in the tower will warm up just a little. It's not enough to tell a temperature difference, just enough to make some foam. I find it's best to "burp" the faucet twice (open/close quickly), then let it run into the pitcher. From there you can make a perfect pour into your frosty pint glass.

Here are my recommended upgrades:
Worm gear hose clamps on CO2 lines (auto parts store)
Dual gauge regulator with dual shutoff valves
Standard 'D' system sankey couplers
Stainless steel tower
Perlick 252SS faucets
Pressurized cleaning kit
Stainless steel drip tray

Nice kegerator. I recommend this product.

Huge upgrade to the Notstalgia kegerator I previously owned. Digital controls are fantastic. Checked with a thermometer and it was right on. Has a deep chill feature to cool kegs faster which is quite nice. Spent a little more and get a lot more.
