It was installed in place of a trash compacter. Fits very well, no additional work or adjustments required. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars, I believe the unit could use a little more insulation. I think it runs to often in order to maintain the set temp.

Bought to replace a 2 year old EXPENSIVE brand that died. "U" would think price would reflect quality. Anyway, we weren't the original owner, so no warranty. Anyway, purchased this Danby. So far, cooling great, very quiet and looks great in our stainless kitchen. Does NOT hold Chardonnay bottles; oh well, that's what the regular fridge is for. Pleased with this one, although the price of all of these refrigerators is ridiculously expensive, given size and what they do. Delivery was fast, unit was in perfect shape.

Beverage Factory was a dream! Easy to order. OUTSTANDING communication after the order through delivery. This unit replaced a trash compactor. So easy! The dimensions advertised were right on the money and the refrigerator slid right in the vacated space. If you are searching for something like this, STOP! Search no more and order from Beverage Factory. They, and the product, are fantastic!!!

The wine cooler front is very sleek and stylish. Love the handle location. I'm installing it undercounter where an old trash compactor was previously. The wine cooler is very quiet. No complaints.

I was so excited to finally get a wine fridge. Everything about this Danby DWC1534BLS is really nice, except there is no way this is gonna hold 34 bottles!! In truth, it's gonna hold maybe 1/2 of that. Unless all the bottles I have are of exceptional size, you will average about 3 bottles per shelf. Any more than that, and there starts to become issues with opening the drawer slides. Except for that phenomenal bummer, it works well. Quiet, easy to change door sides,cool blue light,and maintains temperature. I don't know if all the other wine fridge companies fudge their numbers too, but make sure you ask about any of them.

The unit came as promised, in excellent condition. Plugged it in, slid in into the space where the old one had been. Within minutes the temp was dropping, came down to 41 in about 3 hours. Very quiet. Only drawback, as others have mentioned, is that large diameter bottles like champagnes and some chardonnays are a tight fit. The shelves are loose enough to squeeze them in, though. No tighter than my previous unit of another make.

The cooler works well but is a bit noisy. Excellent appearance. Have only had it for 24 hours. Don't know how to desk with the defective light switch. Should have been tested by maker before shipment. The dimensions at the base were larger than specified so had to alter cabinet.

My Danby wine refrig is sleek, silent, and adds a great touch to our kitchen. It fit perfectly where our trash compactor used to be and it was a snap to install. Plus, how can you beat the free shipping. Holds plenty of bottles and is so convenient! This was definitely the way to go - we couldn't be happier with it.

Arrived within a week in perfect condition and exactly as described
Installation very easy
Wine was cooling within an hour of turning the unit on.
Looks great in my kitchen.
Replaced an unused compactor unit with a simple widening of the under counter space. So much more useful and better looking

We purchased this Danby wine cooler and in works great. It is very quiet,stylish, and it cools our wine at the displayed temperature.

We were looking for a moderately priced wine cooler to replace the trash compactor in the 22-yr old home we just bought. We researched consumer reports and many other websites and based on our findings decided on this model. The look is very clean/contemporary, a very quiet unit and wines seem to be at the right temperature (but we are not wine connoisseurs). Now, you'd be hard pressed to accommodate 34 bottles in this model, we usually have 15 bottles stocked. The bottom shelf would hold larger than "standard" bottles. You have to open the door widely or you won't be able to slide the shelfs out. Finally, there is a 1.5" gap between the counter top and the top of the unit. All the "cons" are really minor stuff that we can live with. Great choice in this price range! Beverage Factory transaction and service? Excellent!
