| nice wine refrigerator | |
| by: | Karen (10-04-2008) Medford Or |
| Comments: | It works very well for us. The temperature zones are split in the middle so it does half white and half red storage. Some of the bigger chardonney bottles are tight to fit in. It is in my kitchen and is not louder than my other appliances. For the price I think it is a good buy. |
| Bottom Line: | I would recommend this product. |
| Nice wine cellar | |

| Comments: | This has been a very good value for someone like me who is a casual drinker. Most bottles I purchase and plan on keeping are about $25 so I don't need anything too extravagant, and this Avanti seems to do the trick. I especially like the dual zone since my wife drinks whites exclusively and I am a red lover. We also keep a few champagne bottles on the bottom for entertaining. I only have one negative point which is the shelving doesn't adjust and some larger California Pinots don't fit in too well. If it weren't for that, I would have given it 5 stars. |
| Bottom Line: | I would recommend this product. |
| White Wino | |

| Comments: | I already have a cellar in my home but I wanted a place I could keep my nicer white wines in a cooler area. I don't quite have over 100 bottles of white so this dual zone fridge made sense for me because I could use half for the white wines I'm trying to hold on to for a long time and use the other half for keeping red wine closer to the kitchen so I don't have to go down to the cellar. It's attractive, looks good with other appliances I have, has an easy to use temperature display and the wood shelves don't scuff my labels. The unit doesn't make much noise which is good because it's in my dining room. I would recommend this unit to anyone trying to hold on to their white wines for longer than a few months. |

| this is the one | |

| Comments: | Hi, If you are like me you have been search the internet over looking at all the wine cellars. I think in the last 3 weeks I have spent more time researching then sleeping. I have called and talked to many people (these guys are the most informative by far) and still are looking. I have come down to this unit. I based my decision on price and the dual zone feature. The Avanti has a great price and capacity. The reviews I have read on the shelves are that you can't remove them... well that is wrong. I called Avanti and they assured me that the shelves can be removed for larger bottles. I have a few that are fairly expensive for my taste but I need to get them in a good environment. I know my bottle count will decrease but I don't have 160 bottles. I could care less about the stainless steel trim but there is not a unit that is all black this big and dual zone. I will keep my whites on the lower part of the unit. I was also told if I live in a very dry climate (which I do) to place a small cup of water in side to help with the moisture. There are a few places that seem to have the unit for a better price but they are not authorized to sell the products. Im not sure exactly what them means other then the warranty is void and that is a very bad thing. Avanti and Beverage Factory both told me to watch out who I buy from because of this issue. I personally don't want a used or repaired unit. My advise is to buy from a place like this one to be safe. good luck |

| two compressors needed | |

| Comments: | I use this product to store both red and white wine at the same time. I used to have my whites in the fridge but it's nice to free up that space and still have an area cool enough for white storage. I just wish that it had more precise temperature control in terms of setting one section while leaving the other alone. When I change the temperature in the bottom zone, it changes the temp in the top zone by the same amount. I'd like to be able to adjust each section independently. Other than that, I've been real happy with the performance of this model. It maintains temperature well and doesn't make a lot of noise. The wood shelves actually match the wood in my dining room almost perfectly so that worked out well. I love that they slide out because it's easier to get to your bottles. |
| Bottom Line: | I would recommend this product. |
