With its slim 15-inch width and elegant stainless steel door trim, the Danby DWC1534BLS Built-in Wine Cooler integrates seamlessly into surrounding kitchen cabinetry. The wine cooler holds up to 34 bottles of wine on stainless steel trimmed shelves and features an electronic thermostat with an LED display. A cool blue LED track lighting system illuminates the interior without the heat of an incandescent light and creates a beautiful display behind the tempered glass door.
Other features include a frost-free operation, a security lock with key and a reversible hinge for left- or right-hand opening.

| Comments: | We were looking for a moderately priced wine cooler to replace the trash compactor in the 22-yr old home we just bought. We researched consumer reports and many other websites and based on our findings decided on this model. The look is very clean/contemporary, a very quiet unit and wines seem to be at the right temperature (but we are not wine connoisseurs). Now, you'd be hard pressed to accommodate 34 bottles in this model, we usually have 15 bottles stocked. The bottom shelf would hold larger than "standard" bottles. You have to open the door widely or you won't be able to slide the shelfs out. Finally, there is a 1.5" gap between the counter top and the top of the unit. All the "cons" are really minor stuff that we can live with. Great choice in this price range! Beverage Factory transaction and service? Excellent! |
