The boot lever locks up straight during insertion. With the sprial fully inserted into the cork, the first step extracts about 7/8" of the cork. Press the boot lever in and the second lever pulls the rest of the cork straight out. The secret is in the "crescent" in the handle that keeps the spring-loaded floating axis in a vertical position. Extendable four wheel "FOILKUT" system foil cutter. Nickel plated spiral. Compact 5-1/4" long.

Comments:	I love purple so it makes me extremely happy to use this purple corkscrew at work. The foil cutter makes it very easy to remove the wine foil while standing at a table and it is very sturdy when removing the cork. It takes about a month or so for the corkscrew to loosen up a bit, but overall, this is a great purchase and an awesome, unique corkscrew.
Bottom Line:	I would recommend this product.

Comments:	I am a flight attendant and never leave without my Boomerang Corkscrew. This is one of the few that TSA will allow through their checkpoints. It is great to use in the aircraft aisle. I usually work in first class on international flights so I always have 4 or 5 bottles of wine on my cart at all times. This corkscrew does a great job with cutting the foil on the bottles and easy to get the corks out. Get one TODAY !!!!!
