The EG-3/4P EXTRA 450 Ft. Glycol Chiller with a procon pump, and an optional second pump, is an ideal beer and beverage cooler. This glycol cooler comes equipped with a 3/4hp compressor and digital thermostat. This chiller includes a 15GI bath and has up to a 450' run distance.

A glycol chiller is the right solution if you're using a long-draw system - meaning you would like to have your chiller several feet away from where you plan to dispense. This system implements the power of glycol to move beer further distances, while still keeping it cold from keg to tap. Propylene glycol is combined with water to create a chilled mixture that's pumped from the glycol power pack through the cooling lines that run parallel to your beer lines. Propylene glycol, a non-toxic, food-grade antifreeze, is the main component that's been used for many years in food-processing systems. Glycol cooled draft beer dispensing systems are typically used in commercial applications such as bars, restaurants, and stadiums.

works exactly as expected / great price
by:Frank (08-26-2017)

Comments:The unit arrived packed very well and on the day we were promised. It's easy to operate and works well for our application. I did quite a bit of research on other units before purchasing. Most units were either way to large or much more expensive. I finally bought this unit but was a bit apprehensive due to the great price. I am am rather impressed with the design and quality of workmanship.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.
Wow! Cold Beer

Comments:Had an older unit running 60 taps about 30 feet away...finally started making noises and struggling to keep up. Wow. Didn't know how cold beer can really get. This new unit is quietly humming along at 28 degrees, cheeper power bill, boy am I happy. Simple to install - just make sure you've got a dedicated breaker and you're set.
Bottom Line:I would recommend this product.
How loud is this unit? Is there a decibel rating? Looking to use in a open concept tap room brewery, leaving little sound buffering (walls, etc.). Would that be a problem?

How many 2 bbl fermenters would the EG 3/4 run?
by Tim on December 16, 2019
It depends on what you are using the fernenters for. Maintaining temps during active fermentation takes less BTU's than crashing. If you were just looking to maintain temps during fermentation, you could run around 20 but then you would be short on BTU's if you needed to do a cold crash. Crashing takes a lot more power and if you had to crash all the fermenters at the same time you could only run 5 2 BBL fermenters. If you are planning to use your fermenters in a uni tank capacity. I would recommend 10 fermenters, and schedule your crashing so you don't have two tanks crashing at the same time.

This is a complex situation, let me know if you need further guidance.
