The KG-1/6T Kalinka-Ice 25 Ft. Glycol Chiller with a totton pump is the perfect glycol cooling system for ice towers. Glycol power pack comes equipped with a 1/6hp compressor and digital thermostat. This kalinka ice chiller includes a 2GI bath and has up to a 25' run distance.

A glycol chiller is the right solution if you're using a long-draw system - meaning you would like to have your chiller several feet away from where you plan to dispense. This system implements the power of glycol to move beer further distances, while still keeping it cold from keg to tap. Propylene glycol is combined with water to create a chilled mixture that's pumped from the glycol power pack through the cooling lines that run parallel to your beer lines. Propylene glycol, a non-toxic, food-grade antifreeze, is the main component that's been used for many years in food-processing systems. Glycol cooled draft beer dispensing systems are typically used in commercial applications such as bars, restaurants, and stadiums.

How quickly does it get to optimum cooling temp?
by BubbleBro on June 30, 2019
Its tough to say because there are so many variables at play. Its best to contact UBC and see if they have trial run statistics on various setups to see rough numbers.

Does the unit put out a lot of heat? Meaning, could I place this unit in a base cabinet next to my refrigerators, with a small vent in back of the cabinet? Or will this make the entire space to hot? Also, does the unit make significant noise when running?
by Matt on October 01, 2019
There will be some heat from the motor running. However, not so much that you'll need to cool the room down with an ac unit.
The unit will most certainly make noise while operating. Unfortunately, we do not have any decibel facts to offer.
