Q&A

This Kegco 542-2 Pro Series Double Gauge Regulator works with any CO2 Tank with a CGA-320 valve, and measures both the PSI and the volume of CO2 gas in your cylinder. It has a Y splitter with two independent shut off valves that allows you to dispense a single keg or two separate kegs at the same pressure. This regulator is constructed of forged brass with all brass connections and components, a sintered brass inlet filter, integrated nylon tank connection washer (and a spare), and self resetting safety release valve. The top gauge lets you know how much CO2 pressure is in the keg and displays 0-60 psi, while the second gauge lets you know how much CO2 gas is left inside the CO2 tank and features a 0-2000 display. Both gauge displays have been designed to be easy to read. A large adjustment knob with a lock ring allows the gas flow to be easily changed without the need for a screwdriver. This regulator includes a tamper proof safety relief valve that release at 45 psi, as well as a shut off valve that can instantly shut off pressure ot the keg without backing up your gas line.

  • Has a large hand control which makes it easy to adjust the pressure inside the keg
  • Pro Series Double Gauge
  • Pressure Adjustment Knob
  • Chrome Plated Brass Body
  • Output - 1/4" FNPT
  • Integral Safety pressure relief valve releases at 45 PSI
  • Manual Pressure Release Valve
Warning WARNING: This product has Brass components. Brass alloys are known to contain trace amounts of Lead, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and reproductive harm. For more information, go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

Performs as promised

I have two of these regulators. They are solid, easy to adjust, and don't leak. I've used cheaper regulators in the passed and had them leak from the gauge. I bought this one to force carbonate two kegs at the same time. Works perfect.

Good Regulator, non-standard washer/gask
Erik

The regulator is solid and has held up well for over a year. But when i wore out the gaskets that came with it, I found out they are not standard gaskets and you will need to order more through here. I called directly and they were able to send me more spares for little $, just wanted to save people some time and frustration.

Works ok
Tim

Not sure if it's the fact I keep this regulator in the fridge with the kegs or not but it is super lazy on regulating the pressure to the kegs. Feels like a quality product, but if you plan on keeping it in a cold environment this one might not be the one for you.

Great Regulator
BrewerAdam

This regulator has worked great so far. Its nice to have the two out ports attached to the regulator with shutoff valves. I don't have to worry with a splitter for my two tap kegerator. The built in pressure release valve is nice to have as well.

Nice upgrade
Brad

It's great to have 2 shut off valves for dual faucet setups.

Keep an eye on the top gauge the first few days as it can creep up and down. The adjustment screw can be hard to increase when it gets cold. Just use come channel-locks.

I'm running most beers at 8-10PSI.
