Calcium Chloride Pellets - 1 lb
In home brewing, calcium Chloride is used to decrease the Ph level, especially in lighter beers. Calcium Chloride increases the permanent hardness of the water, giving a better mouth feel than gypsum and a naturally existing sweetness. Calcium Chloride should be used 1 tsp per 5 gallons of beer in most cases. Useful for adding calcium if the water is low in chlorides.
