Introducing the brand new Kegco Black Aluminum High Pressure Nitrogen Tank. This tank is produced from high strength aluminum alloy 6061-T6 that is corrosion resistant material, but not corrosion-proof. With the eye-catching sleek black epoxy finish, it acts as an extra layer of protection against corrosion and wear. Its aluminum construction provides lighter weight than steel tanks and does not rust. This cylinder features service pressure up to 2216 PSI/153 BAR with a test pressure of 3694 PSI/254.7 BAR. It is stamped with required U.S. Department of Transportation and Transport Canada markings. Its 580 valve is CGA approved, and have a female thread for Nitrogen Regulators.

Before you can properly pour Guinness®, you will need to dispense it with a mixed gas tank. Guinness® is a nitrogenated beer as opposed to a carbonated beer. Nitrogen is what gives Guinness® its famous taste and pour. The proper gas mixture you will need is 75% N2 and 25% CO2. Not every gas supplier is willing to fill a mixed blend, so you will need to call around to find a place who will be willing to fill a mixed blend.

Awesome bottle to match my CO2 bottle. Only problem was getting someone to fill it. I live in the 2nd largest city in Indiana and no one would fill it. Ended up trading it in on a tank I could swap out locally. If you buy this please make sure you can find someone to fill it. My local guy said yes they can send it out but when I showed up the whole story changed. Don't let this happen to you. I still love BeverageFactory !

hey, a tank is a tank, right...?This tank does everything other tanks do, AND it is great looking. My gas company compliments the Kegco tanks every time I get them filled.

Having a nitrogen tank available opens up countless options from having stout to nitro coffee.

Also the sales consultants at The beverage Factory are the best in class, I have purchased two kegerators and several tanks and their recommendations are spot on.

Can the Kegco 15 lb nitro tank be filled with and used as a replacement for my 5 lb tank?

The 15lb nitrogen tank has the same connection as our 5lb nitrogen tank. It does not have the same connection as a 5lb CO2 tank.

The 15 cu ft tank itself would be the approximate size of a 5lb CO2 tank. Usage would be different between the gases as CO2 and nitrogen are used differently.
