This high quality wing handle keg coupler (keg tap) is compatible with all domestic brand kegs. This coupler works with all domestic "D" system sankey kegs. This coupler features a 55-psi pressure relief valve and a nickel-plated forged brass body. To tap a keg all you have to do is push down and turn to properly couple the keg.

I'm sorry to hear this happened if this purchase was made within a year we will send you a replacement unit as it will be under our 1 year parts and labor warranty. If not we ill have to buy a new coupler and these units run about $26 dollars. Hope this helps and thank you for your question.

Answer:
To remove the probe assembly from the coupler body you must remove the snap ring on top of the winged handle. Once that's been removed, the probe can be pulled out of the coupler for cleaning.
