This set of twelve commercial grade Kegco KT85D-L "D" System Lever Handle Keg Couplers is great for small breweries and tasting rooms. The KT85D-L is compatible with all domestic brand kegs and works with any American "D" system sankey keg. These couplers feature a 55-psi pressure relief valve and a nickel-plated forged brass body with a stainless steel probe. To tap a keg, simply pull out and then down on the lever handle.

We've got a few of these couplers in our bar and have been happy with them. The handle mechanism works well and overall the coupler feels solidly built. We bought our first one to replace an old lever handle coupler that broke and it worked so well that we bought a bunch more (our old couplers were really hard to move the handles in and out to disengage them).

I had a wing handle coupler that came with a kegerator I was given and the plastic part broke, so I called to buy a new one. The salesperson explained that it was not uncommon for the plastic wing handles to break and recommended the lever handle, so i bought it. I've had it for over a year and haven't had any issues with it so I'm back to buy one for a friend.

The 1/6 kegs are too tall for use with the standard D coupler. The line crimps when it hits the top of the fridge.

This may be the case depending on the kegerator, things to try would be a low profile coupler, or a 90 degree elbow fitting. Give us a call or email and we can assist you further!
