Question:
Are these shorter (low profile) as compared to standard ball lock couplers? If so by how much?

Answer:
They are shorter by approximately 1/4" at 2" in height, and serve well as low profile couplers because the gas and beer lines connect to the coupler at a 90 degree angle, rather than the 45 degree angle that most standard ball lock couplers have, so the line doesn't extend beyond the height of the coupler itself.

Great for high pressure setup
JanelWe run two kegs, one with a carbonated cocktail such as Gin & Tonic, the other with soda water. Both require a fairly high pressure to give them the right amount of bubble and the plastic couplers leaked constantly. These stainless ones work great even at 45-50 psi.
