Is the 1/4" barb removeable and if so what is it's thread size, like 1/4" or 1/8" NPT?

Are the gas and beer connectors interchangeable? If not how do I tell the gass in from the beer out?

Answer:
The gas and beer connectors are not interchangeable. The easiest way to tell the difference, is the gas connectors will always have some type of markings or grooves. On these models, the two circular lines represent the gas side, and the liquid will be smooth all the way around.
