The Sambucus Nigra Flora can be used to make their own wine or can be added to Elder Berry Wine to enhance flavor, though, it is used most often in white wines to create more complexity and enhance the aroma of the wine. This herb infused in creams have been used to soften skin, smooth wrinkles, fade freckles, and soothe sunburn. When appended in hot tea, like chamomile, it can soothe nightcap and offer natural relief for the commons cold. This ingredient is recommended to add 1 to 2 ounces during primary fermentation and remove elder flowers within 72 hours of adding them for best results.
