Briess Pilsen Light is an extra-light colored, American malt extract. It produces a very crisp, clear wort with a subtle malty flavor. Pilsen Light can be used in the production of all extract beer styles and to adjust the color, flavor and gravity of all grain beers. Additional advantages of using extract include: saved time, increased capacity and improved body and head retention. Color figure applies to a mixture of extract with water. Therefore, you may experience a different color, depending on use. Specific Gravity applies to a mixture of 1 lb of extract with 1 gal of water.
