Q&A

The Kegco KM7GM-2R Grain Mill is a sturdy mill with an aluminum hopper that can hold up to 7 lbs of grains. It features an alloy block frame that houses two steel rollers on stainless steel ball bearings. The drive shaft and all axles are integral to the roller, which makes it possible to drive the mill clockwise or counter-clockwise. A hand crank is included, but a great feature is that the mill can be easily motorized with a drill. You don't need any additional attachments, just stick the drill on and go. Stainless knurled knobs allow a gap spacing adjustment range of .025-.100a1/21/2. Adjusting is simple - just loosen the adjustment screws, adjust the gap and tighten the adjustment screws. Now includes a black metal base that fits over common brewing buckets and smaller mash tuns.

  • 6" long adjustable gap
  • Fully adjustable mill
  • Dual eccentric adjusters: 0.100 to 0.025 gap - built from stainless steel for no galling
  • 6 lbs / minute is average throughput
  • 5" x 1.25" diameter steel rollers
  • Crankshaft can be turned clockwise or counterclockwise
  • Durable alloy frame
  • Stainless steel ball bearings

good mill
doc mike

for the uses i need it for it works great. small amounts of cracked grains.
the screws to put it together are (by necessity ) pretty small. a few nasty comments during assembly. but not really that bad.
