Pasteur Red yeast is a strong fermenter and produces full-bodied red wines. Pasteur Red wine yeast encourages development of varietal fruit flavors, balanced by complex aromas when using grapes from the Cabernet family. Particularly well suited for grapes from the Zinfandel and Cabernet families as well as Berry and Cherry Wine, Gamay, Merlot, Pinot, and Syrah. Also good for use with grapes that are picked early.
