The ratchet engagement of the locking handle is great! No struggles with a sticky handle that has to be pulled out. Also, great free 2 day shipping of coupler just before a Christmas party. Great company to work with!

I've used this with my keezer- as the first beer I've dispensed from my taps. It works great, was easy to put on the keg, and with the right adapters for my hose lines everything connected perfectly. Do keep in mind that it comes as shown- meaning if you have 3/8 ID line you'll need different connectors to adapt to your equipment and it doesn't have the adapter at all for the beer out line. Standard shank adapters fit.

Fixed my leaking problem where just replacing 0-rings on the older coupler wasnt getting it done.

Probe is machined stainless, the body looks like cast 316. The handle tilts to ease in catch release. I'm impressed, will be buying more.

I was sold on these based on comments from users and would like to add here as well. I bought 4 of them to replace my old units, while installing 2 new cooler boxes. My old cooler required using a 1/6 barrel, and that necessity was eliminated on the new set-up. I read that these taps would not work with the small diameter kegs but that didn't really concern me as I didn't foresee a need for the little kegs in the future. I forgot about a final 1/6th I had in stock prior to installing the new taps, and it wasn't until I snapped the lever down, tapping this keg that I remembered it shouldn't fit..? Well it does, just fine... better than my old tap that "worked". I later noticed on the boxes they come in it notes "Small handle". I'm not sure if there are options here (didn't recall seeing one) or if this is an upgraded / new design to cure an old symptom, but these from the Beverage Factory do work on sixth barrels... maybe someone else can confirm?

THIS COUPLER IS WELL MADE AND MUCH EASIER TO USE THAN WHAT CAME WITH MY COOLER. I REALLY LIKE THE LEVER. I WOULD RECOMMED THIS PRODUCT.

The handle is too long and angled down. Will not latch on 1/6 barrels.

Great design, wonderful handle, solid construction, doesn't fit on 1/6th barrel kegs. The handle hits the edge of the keg preventing it from locking into place.

I bought 3 new taps and they were great. I belong to a hunting club we tapped 11 kegs in a week and not one splash of
Beer when tapping . Highly

The handle bumps against the rim of the smaller kegs making it impossible to tap. Amazing build quality and the ratchet handle is a dream. It just doesn't fit the kegs I have in my system. A note about the longer handle would be good to add to the description.

I bought this as a replacement for an older coupler that had a faulty pressure relief valve. The ratchet style release is so much easier than the old pull style.
