First I must say the units arrived with some serious damage to the boxes & packaging due to someone in the delivery process...NOT the Beverage Factory's fault. Customer Service?...WOW...outstanding response , and the representative, Bree, is incredibly professional, kind, concerned, and actively acted to fix any issues. Turned out to be one small damaged part which is being replaced. And the units are working perfectly, as advertised, and they look great in the house! I moved and replaced a dedicated wine cellar with these two units, and am very satisfied. One capacity comment: I have a lot of Oregon Pinot Noir and the bottles are larger than normal, so I only got 282 bottles into the 2 units...but that is perfect for me! Very pleased and very satisfied!!

After the compressor failed on my 25-year old wine cooler, it was time to upgrade. For not too much more than the cost of a new compressor, I was able to get this unit. Though it holds slightly less in the same footprint, it is so much more energy efficient that it will pay for itself in no time. Plus, I now have four zones where before I had only one.

I purchased this wine refrigerator, online, and in the process talked with Beverage Factory to coordinate delivery. They were very helpful. The contracted delivery service was also very courteous; he even helped transport it into my home (even though he was not required to do so.)
I have now had this unit about a month, and it's working properly, very quiet, and overall a good solution. I have not tried to fill it, totally, with different types of bottles (so the capacity might be a little less than the advertised 172#). Regardless, it's been as good or better than expected/desired.

Because this ended up being placed on a carpeted section of our home, I purchased a 3/4" cabinet grade plywood at 26"x26", primed and painted black on the top side only. This seems to be working to prevent damage to the carpet and provide ample breathing room for the cooler. It's free standing and looks very impressive.

We chose the curved handle and placed this 6ft unit between a tall kitchen cabinet and tall hutch, which seemed to downplay it's size in the room.

Noise comes in cycles. It can be dead quiet, then a gentle fan, then the compressor (similar to a kitchen fridge), then a pulsing sort of cycle, then back to quiet...... the noise is something we will become accustomed to, much like the pendulum clock with chimes nearby. The noise was expected and what we are hearing is not a deal breaker. So far we really like this unit. It has lots of space inside and the rolling trays are well made. Overall, it's a serious wine cabinet that looks great.

Shipped directly to our home with some rips and scrapes on the cardboard box, but absolutely no damage to the unit. It's well packed in fitted styrofoam pieces that cover every inch. We had no problems moving it into our home as we have a good dolly and appliance straps. It's a big heavy unit, so use two people for rolling it into place.

Overall, we feel it's a good purchase. We bought from Beverage Factory years ago and we trust the company. We were so glad they could ship all the way up to Napa.

I have had the unit for 6 days. so far, I love it. Quiet, well engineered, sleek. The shipping piece of the acquisition took almost a month, but so far, it has been well worth the wait.

so fay it is all ok, the unit will really only hold this number if it is the perfect size bottle. we have found that most white wine bottles will not stack as close as needed to utilize the space. even some reds are oversize enough that they will take two spaces.

We had a 50 bottle wine fridge and the unit worked fine but was very hard to use. It was a Kenmore and the shelves were very difficult to pull out as well as they were not very deep. We found we could only fit about 30 bottles in it at any time.

My wife wanted to upgrade and we looked for a long time with most decent units pricing out around $2500. A critical feature we needed was shelves that were smooth to pull out, on rollers or ball bearings .

We also wanted a quiet unit and one with shelves DEEP enough to put two bottles in depth wise.

This unit arrived and we LOVE IT.
Quiet, sleek looking and works perfectly . The shelve are a dream and my wife was so excited she wished we had gotten it years ago.

Every time my wife takes a bottle out of this fridge, she says "ahhh" instead of "^%&^^%$" the damm shelves don't work."

Its a great unit at any price but an EXCEPTIONAL unit at this price ! Wow

This is our first large capacity wine cooler and are so far pleased with it after 5 days of use. The shelves are good and solid, and allow for easy placement of varying bottle sizes. Some of the real larger ones, I have turned the labels toward the sides as they do just barely scrap the shelf above.
The unit is placed in our Dining room where our old 30 bottle unit sat. It is fairly quiet, but louder than the old unit when the fan kicks on. We have an open floor plan from the Dining room to the Living room, so I do hear it running, but it's not annoying.
I would say though, that if you have expensive bottles that need to be kept at a steady temp, then this unit may not be for you. I have noticed some, what I consider to be, large temperature swings. I have seen the temp display ready 50 degrees and then 55 10 minutes latter. It dose seem to keep a steady temp of 53 which is where I want it. To keep the red wine temp, the lower section, set to 53, I have to set the thermostat to 51. Since you have to have at least a 9 degree temp difference between the upper and lower section, the upper section for our white wine is cooler than what I originally set it for.
So far, I am happy with it with my simple wine tastes.

The cooler is very nice. Well made, and the shelves slide very easy with almost no labels rubbing. The temperature isn't as stable as I would hope. The cooler seems to fluctuate sometimes up to 5 degrees and that isn’t good in my opinion. I have 125 bottles inside so it should be more stable but I see on the cooler WHITE side 5 degree fluctuation and the RED side only about 3 degrees change. The compressor seems to be quiet but you know when it is running, it isn’t loud but you can hear some fan noise. I have had this unit only 2 weeks but so far it seems ok.

Beverage Factory was great to work with. Delivered product as described in a very timely manner. Fridge is everything we had hoped for. The only caution I would give is the fridge is very heavy to move, so grab a group of strong friends and/or a large dolly for moving it into place.

I recently received the cooler. It has been plugged in for five days. I am still having difficulty in getting the temperatures in the two zones to where I want them. Perhaps it will work out in a few more days.

We bought this product based upon reviews. We couldn't be happier with the quality. If you don't have two strong humans to lift the fridge and another person to slide out the pallet, pay the extra $$ for the white glove service. Trust me. Handle assembly was easy. Don't worry. Appearance is beautiful even freestanding as ours is in the kitchen bordering the dining area in the great room. I still wish manufacturers would give just a quarter inch more height on every shelf because of bigger bottles from certain vintners. But, overall five stars.

product cools precisely. I've put a thermocoupler in both zones and it reads less than 1 degree variance. The shelves slide in and out with ease and don't bow or sag when all the way out and fully loaded. The only small minuses are that it is a bit louder than what I read in reviews. I read "whisper quiet" and other such remarks. It is not loud, but it is a little louder than my home refrigerator. It is beautiful, well crafted and comes very well packed and it performs beyond expectation. I'll keep it forever!

I have only had the unit for 2 weeks and it is working well. The only misunderstanding I had was that the shelves were adjustable. They are, but only by removing shelves. Otherwise the spacing is as it is.
But not a big problem given the number of bottles it stores.

I worried about the noise level but so far it has proved to be quieter than my refrigerator.

Looking forward to seen how it continues and how long it lasts. My last cooler was 9 1/2 years.

First of all, the packaging was very impressive. The whole unit was wrapped in 2” thick formed hard foam. Covered with a cardboard box and attached to a pallet. After opening the box I can see how well it was built. Supper thick door with double pane tinted glass. All the sliding shelves were very sturdy and smooth. The body of the cabinet was totally sealed. Over all I was very impressed and the price is awesome. I install both units into the wall and used the foams to insulate the back sides. So far both units are running quietly.

The product is very nice. The only thing is it doesn’t hold 170 bottles if you have anything other than the skinny 750 ml bottles. Also, if you buy call and ask for a discount. They don’t advertise it but will usually give you one. Also, the tempeture fluctuates a little but it’s with the range so it fine for me. If your really particular this might not be the wine fridge for you.

The Flexcount 172 compares compares with the higher priced wine fridges with a quality build, full pull out roller bearing shelves that don't sag plus they fit larger bottle sizes. It's quiet running and the dual zone holds temps within 2 degrees.

The ordering and white glove delivery process was seamless, as promised and on time. I'm very pleased.

I currently have this fridge about 80% full and it works really well. It maintains a relatively constant temperature and is also reasonably quiet. It arrived well packaged, in excellent condition.

Beverage factory was great, easy to work with, knowledgeable and as good a price as any other competitor. I’d buy from them again.

This fridge seems sturdy, well made and is reasonably quiet. It sure looks good, and the dual zone system does fine with around a 12 degree difference between top and bottom zones.

My only gripe is I have a lot of burgundy style bottles, and the wider bottle just catches slightly between shelves. I ripped a few wine labels initially, but now have those turned facing sideways. I have to hold the adjacent drawer with one hand while pulling with the other, otherwise the fit is so tight both drawers will slide out.

I’d still buy this unit again, as otherwise I’m very happy and given the size and price point, this is a very nice product.

This refrigerator is the best. It is the size of a normal refrigerator and the flex-count storage racks are brilliant! These work with all size bottles for very efficient storage - far better than wooden racks. You pay a little more for these but they are worth every penny. Also, the drawers pull out far enough so you can see the bottle labels in the back row. The controls are intuitive and simple. Even better the packing and shipping is first rate. This is a great product.

This is a very nice wine cooler. It is very quit while running and very nice looking. The cooler was packaged for delivery very good. The Beverage Factory customer support was great and answered all my questions I had before I bought it. The only problem I had with filling it with wine was one of the wineries I buy from uses Bordeaux styled bottles and the are a little longer and you can't fit end to end bottles in the shelves. The cooler maintains the temp within twp degrees of set temperature. Nice cooler!

I had another dual zone for 10 years and the compressor died. I replaced it with this dual zone based upon the features.
Pros:
It keeps wines cool to cold.
The space usage is great; if bottles don't fit on one shelf, it will on another.
Instructions on how to place the bottles are helpful.
Blue light is soft to the eyes.
The shelves move out slowly.
More space for odd-shaped wine bottles than other units.
The noise isn't too much when running (in the finished basement)
The towel handle was defective but it was replaced quickly by Beverage Factory.

Cons:
It does run loud when keeping cool, but it's not running all day.
The curved handle doesn't quite match the finish of the product, but few would notice it (but I do because I like things to be pretty perfect).
The towel handle was defective but was replaced. The "bushings" in the instructions didn't fit either.
The instructions for installation weren't helpful, and that's probably how the "bushings" didn't fit; maybe they weren't needed.
Got White Glove service; that didn't include putting the handle on.


In short, the cons are really small, but they may be significant for you.

Right now, I'm pleased with the product, service, and price and the features really outweigh the cons.

This unit seems to be well constructed and looks great. Mine is in an area that is not seen by many people, but I would be proud to have it in a main room. The people at the Beverage Factory are great to work with. The only minus is that the temperature settings seem to be far off from the actual temperature.

The customer experience was exceptional in working with the Beverage Factory. They were able to answer questions when we had them and when there was an issue with the shipping company on white glove service (make sure you confirm it if you've purchased it before letting them deliver) they quickly took care of it in a positive manner. Every time spoke with someone they were so positive, knowledgeable, and paid attention to the details.
The wine cooler is fantastic. The dual settings for red vs. white are ideal. It's beautifully designed both inside and out. It was great to actually have 2 handle options which both came with it so you could set up based on your preference at the time. It is extremely quiet when running. it has several larger shelves which are great for champagne and other bigger bottles. The blue light is subtle and can be turned off if desired. The ability to lock the refrigerator is another really cool feature. We've only had it for a couple weeks so can't comment on the long term. But so far temperatures are true and we're thrilled.

Very quiet, nice size, holds all of my different wines.

I have it completely full at the moment. I love the functionality of the shelves and the control panel is very easy to use.

I did exactly as the instructions stated when I first got it.

This fridge does an excellent job at keeping the correct temperature to drink. Very easy to load with the different size bottles that we have. We are very pleased with the two temperature zones. Would have given 5 stars except it is a bit more loud than our previous model.

This brand is by far the best designed wine-frig I have yet to purchase. It is arguably the only brand whose claims regarding bottle count per shelf is honest and accurate. I own two of these now and wish I could replace three other large wine-frig units I bought. Long-term reliability is important to me as well, but I will have t wait a few years to comment on that aspect.

The wine refrigerator is beautiful to look at. The drawers are handy. It is a bit noisy when the motor turns on. Overall, I'm glad we bought it. I wish I could say the same about the customer service. We had major problems with the delivery of our system, but it all worked out in the end. I would suggest better communication in the future from the Customer Service department.

I am storing 100+ bottles in this unit. The shelf space is wide enough to store any size bottle including those oversized pinot bottles. The unit is really quiet, much more quiet than a normal fridge. The temperatures fluctuate quite a lot, but if the unit is set properly you will not see any issues. I would definitely recommend this unit.

After reading reviews and researching wine coolers I decided to buy this unit. It arrived in perfect condition a few weeks later. It fit perfectly in between two other refrigerators and it is the quietest of the three. Best of all, it holds all our wine perfectly! I also bought it on sale, Perfect!

This product fits my wine collection for both red and whites. We drink more red than whites so the bottom section stores a larger quantity of reds which is a good fit for us. Easy viewing of the wine with the smooth slide out shelves
The unit is very quite operating.

What first pulled me to this brand is the rating that it received for energy consumption when compared to the other major wine cooler brand. Having had other wine refrigerators in the past that would cause my utility meter to spin, finding a quite, reliable and cost effective refrigerator was important to me.
The unit keeps the wine exactly where I have the temperature set with very little variation. It is so temperature sensitive that if I keep the door open for more than a couple of minutes, it quickly comes back on to maintain the temperature.
The cabinet is solidly built and the door seals firmly when closed.
The only thing that is different about this unit is that the bottom needs to be set four degrees warmer than the top. It works fine, but from a heat rises and cold drops stand point it seems like reversed logic to me.

I had an old Avanti wine fridge for years that was sold as a 166 bottle unit, but I had a hard time fitting 100 bottles in there because I had to remove a bunch of shelves to make some of my bottles fit. When I saw the description of this model, I figured I'd check it out. I'm very happy we did! The shelves fit all my bottles and they seem stronger than the wood shelves that were in my old fridge. Now I can keep all my bottles in the fridge instead of having a few cases sitting next to it. Other than that, it looks great and is holding temperature well so far, so I'm very happy.

My biggest concern was whether or not I would have been able to use either zone for reds and the temperature settings worked out perfectly for me and that makes me a very happy customer. I do wish the shelves came out a little bit more but at the same time I can store the few larger bottles I have. Nice work and thank you.
