Ordered ou Alllavino wine refrigerator through The Beverage Factory/San Diego. Smooth order transaction and shipping/communication to SF Bay Area. Unit was extremely well packaged. Followed directions for proper set-up…….unit is working beautifully. Only hiccup was with the ladder style door handle; screw would not tighten in one of two holes. Quick call to Allavino customer service greeted us with care/concern, and easy resolution with shipping of a replacement handle; which we received within a couple of days. We are very pleased with our choice of where to purchase our Allavino refrigerator and the unit itself.

First of all this is a gorgeous wine fridge. It's very well made, it's quiet, and I'm glad I bought it. My only complaint is that the "FlexCount" shelves that they tout so much need to be explained a bit better. I have several different shaped Champagne, Prosecco, Cava bottles, so I was excited to be able to use this "almost any size bottle shelves." However, what they fail to mention is that those types of bottles (if buying dual zone) need to go on the very top shelf, where there is plenty of room. If you try to put bigger bottles on any of the 4 shelves below it, they can't shut without running in to the shelf above it. The flexcount video would have you believe that those bigger bottomed bottles can go on any shelf. They can't. Same with my larger red bottles, they either have to go on the very top shelf of the bottom portion, the very middle shelf (2 tier) the very bottom shelf of the bottom portion (2 tier). FlexCount does fit a lot of different shapes and types of bottles, but let's be honest, it's never going to be perfect in any wine fridge. If every bottle was the size of a Bordeaux bottle, life would be simpler with wine fridges, but they aren't. I would recommend this though. It's a fantastic wine fridge and I get tons of compliments on how beautiful it is.

I have had the unit for 6 days. so far, I love it. Quiet, well engineered, sleek. The shipping piece of the acquisition took almost a month, but so far, it has been well worth the wait.

We had a 50 bottle wine fridge and the unit worked fine but was very hard to use. It was a Kenmore and the shelves were very difficult to pull out as well as they were not very deep. We found we could only fit about 30 bottles in it at any time.

My wife wanted to upgrade and we looked for a long time with most decent units pricing out around $2500. A critical feature we needed was shelves that were smooth to pull out, on rollers or ball bearings .

We also wanted a quiet unit and one with shelves DEEP enough to put two bottles in depth wise.

This unit arrived and we LOVE IT.
Quiet, sleek looking and works perfectly . The shelve are a dream and my wife was so excited she wished we had gotten it years ago.

Every time my wife takes a bottle out of this fridge, she says "ahhh" instead of "^%&^^%$" the damm shelves don't work."

Its a great unit at any price but an EXCEPTIONAL unit at this price ! Wow

This is our first large capacity wine cooler and are so far pleased with it after 5 days of use. The shelves are good and solid, and allow for easy placement of varying bottle sizes. Some of the real larger ones, I have turned the labels toward the sides as they do just barely scrap the shelf above.
The unit is placed in our Dining room where our old 30 bottle unit sat. It is fairly quiet, but louder than the old unit when the fan kicks on. We have an open floor plan from the Dining room to the Living room, so I do hear it running, but it's not annoying.
I would say though, that if you have expensive bottles that need to be kept at a steady temp, then this unit may not be for you. I have noticed some, what I consider to be, large temperature swings. I have seen the temp display ready 50 degrees and then 55 10 minutes latter. It dose seem to keep a steady temp of 53 which is where I want it. To keep the red wine temp, the lower section, set to 53, I have to set the thermostat to 51. Since you have to have at least a 9 degree temp difference between the upper and lower section, the upper section for our white wine is cooler than what I originally set it for.
So far, I am happy with it with my simple wine tastes.

The cooler is very nice. Well made, and the shelves slide very easy with almost no labels rubbing. The temperature isn't as stable as I would hope. The cooler seems to fluctuate sometimes up to 5 degrees and that isn’t good in my opinion. I have 125 bottles inside so it should be more stable but I see on the cooler WHITE side 5 degree fluctuation and the RED side only about 3 degrees change. The compressor seems to be quiet but you know when it is running, it isn’t loud but you can hear some fan noise. I have had this unit only 2 weeks but so far it seems ok.

product cools precisely. I've put a thermocoupler in both zones and it reads less than 1 degree variance. The shelves slide in and out with ease and don't bow or sag when all the way out and fully loaded. The only small minuses are that it is a bit louder than what I read in reviews. I read "whisper quiet" and other such remarks. It is not loud, but it is a little louder than my home refrigerator. It is beautiful, well crafted and comes very well packed and it performs beyond expectation. I'll keep it forever!

The product is very nice. The only thing is it doesn’t hold 170 bottles if you have anything other than the skinny 750 ml bottles. Also, if you buy call and ask for a discount. They don’t advertise it but will usually give you one. Also, the tempeture fluctuates a little but it’s with the range so it fine for me. If your really particular this might not be the wine fridge for you.

I had another dual zone for 10 years and the compressor died. I replaced it with this dual zone based upon the features.
Pros:
It keeps wines cool to cold.
The space usage is great; if bottles don't fit on one shelf, it will on another.
Instructions on how to place the bottles are helpful.
Blue light is soft to the eyes.
The shelves move out slowly.
More space for odd-shaped wine bottles than other units.
The noise isn't too much when running (in the finished basement)
The towel handle was defective but it was replaced quickly by Beverage Factory.

Cons:
It does run loud when keeping cool, but it's not running all day.
The curved handle doesn't quite match the finish of the product, but few would notice it (but I do because I like things to be pretty perfect).
The towel handle was defective but was replaced. The "bushings" in the instructions didn't fit either.
The instructions for installation weren't helpful, and that's probably how the "bushings" didn't fit; maybe they weren't needed.
Got White Glove service; that didn't include putting the handle on.


In short, the cons are really small, but they may be significant for you.

Right now, I'm pleased with the product, service, and price and the features really outweigh the cons.

Very quiet, nice size, holds all of my different wines.

I have it completely full at the moment. I love the functionality of the shelves and the control panel is very easy to use.

I did exactly as the instructions stated when I first got it.

This fridge does an excellent job at keeping the correct temperature to drink. Very easy to load with the different size bottles that we have. We are very pleased with the two temperature zones. Would have given 5 stars except it is a bit more loud than our previous model.

The wine refrigerator is beautiful to look at. The drawers are handy. It is a bit noisy when the motor turns on. Overall, I'm glad we bought it. I wish I could say the same about the customer service. We had major problems with the delivery of our system, but it all worked out in the end. I would suggest better communication in the future from the Customer Service department.

I am storing 100+ bottles in this unit. The shelf space is wide enough to store any size bottle including those oversized pinot bottles. The unit is really quiet, much more quiet than a normal fridge. The temperatures fluctuate quite a lot, but if the unit is set properly you will not see any issues. I would definitely recommend this unit.

After reading reviews and researching wine coolers I decided to buy this unit. It arrived in perfect condition a few weeks later. It fit perfectly in between two other refrigerators and it is the quietest of the three. Best of all, it holds all our wine perfectly! I also bought it on sale, Perfect!

What first pulled me to this brand is the rating that it received for energy consumption when compared to the other major wine cooler brand. Having had other wine refrigerators in the past that would cause my utility meter to spin, finding a quite, reliable and cost effective refrigerator was important to me.
The unit keeps the wine exactly where I have the temperature set with very little variation. It is so temperature sensitive that if I keep the door open for more than a couple of minutes, it quickly comes back on to maintain the temperature.
The cabinet is solidly built and the door seals firmly when closed.
The only thing that is different about this unit is that the bottom needs to be set four degrees warmer than the top. It works fine, but from a heat rises and cold drops stand point it seems like reversed logic to me.

I had an old Avanti wine fridge for years that was sold as a 166 bottle unit, but I had a hard time fitting 100 bottles in there because I had to remove a bunch of shelves to make some of my bottles fit. When I saw the description of this model, I figured I'd check it out. I'm very happy we did! The shelves fit all my bottles and they seem stronger than the wood shelves that were in my old fridge. Now I can keep all my bottles in the fridge instead of having a few cases sitting next to it. Other than that, it looks great and is holding temperature well so far, so I'm very happy.

My biggest concern was whether or not I would have been able to use either zone for reds and the temperature settings worked out perfectly for me and that makes me a very happy customer. I do wish the shelves came out a little bit more but at the same time I can store the few larger bottles I have. Nice work and thank you.
